I was just thinking this. He gives a huge lecture about LGB posters saying extras couldn't possibly ever be justifiable in the context of getting less overall.. and then comes back to argue straight extras shouldn't be a problem. I'm just going to write him off as trolling the LGB posters at this point.

I'm incredibly disappointed in Bioware. Cullen's gates for humans and elves is the vast majority of female players, anyway. We're talking very likely well over 80%. It's a joke that he's even gated. This is ridiculous.

The devs said the gates were for story reasons. "I'm not into you." is not a story reason.
Honestly David Gaider told to some gay people worried to not panick about getting two straight options when he said bioware doesn't feel the need to give equal options, and it is exactly what happened.
It was also quite a mess about this equality between gender, while it isn't the case at all. 5 male Lis, and 3 Lis. In my opinion, what they say on this forum isn't what I'd trust the most right now. I'm not saying it's not true, I'm just not expecting something big, at least for Cullen. ( maybe Solas ? )

You said before that you were for equal options, yes? So, you would say that, then, these race gated options that create an unbalance in any way are against your general stance, yes? It can't be both ways. If you're saying you support equal options, you have to be against them regardless who they're for, gender, sexuality, race, etc. Some race/gender/sexuality combinations are getting more options and none are getting less. Isn't this the opposite of what you said you wanted?
I agree with this.... Personally I say just get rid of the two race gate or make them more balanced, everyone wins. Had they just gone with 2/2/2 everyone(well almost everyone) would have been happy, now with the two race gate you do create a unbalance and the race issue.

I have to say, I really wonder what David Gaider meant when he said to give them the benefit of the doubt. I did that, based on him asking, and what happened was exactly what I was afraid would happen. Apparently what he thought the benefit of the doubt meant was just completely off page with what I thought it meant.
