David Gaider says it was never about playersexuality and just there was the coincidence of four bisexuals in one group.
Gaider's original statement about DA2 LI being "playersexual" wasn't really smart. His backtracking is interesting, if true.

Lmao, If you count Liara and Sam as "more" options, k then. Gay men and gay women got 2 options where straight men got the whole ship.
And no, I don't count Kelly and Allers.
And yes good for them, gay men already lost Solas and if Viv ends up the last LI and she gets to be straight then we lose. Again.
Everybody who isn't a female elf "lost" Solas.
And yes I do count Liara and Sam as "more" options than only Kaiden.
Straight females got one less option than you in the last game and in this one they have one more option. Isn't that "fair"?
If Vivienne is straight, I'll cry. But it seems likely.

No one should be restricted to Kaiden.

Hah-hah, I agree. His voice actor was the worst in ME(and KOTOR too).

There not Writing the Characters for you there writing for them selves, how they want them to be there not handing out Candy for fans.
To them it's not about numbers but i guess that's wall you care about and you will never be happy.
So Bioware writer should write characters about whats Fair and not what they want the Character's to be.
No, they shouldn't.
But whilst saying that, it doesn't have to mean that it can't be one or the other.

I liked Carth Onasi.
Not so much Kaiden.

I admit, it didn't feel that was as only Anders and Isabela came off as bisexual as you'd think a preference for both might have been mentioned by the others.
And that's only assuming Karl and Anders were involved which was unclear, IMHO.
The game would have been improved, I think, with mention of the preferences of both Fenris and Merril.
That's a shame. It would have been cool if bisexuality was just the norm, or at least more or as common than/as Heterosexuality.

There's still Garrus, you can romance him if you play ME2.
Our team Lady Trevelyan x Vivienne will be devastatedSame here. I've already prepared myself by switching to heartbroken Anya. That said, I will still romance Vivienne if she is a available, no matter what. I'll just be depressed I didn't get some awesome bisexual representation from my Madame de Fer.
It's kind of annoying, really, that it's the straight male who is the one who won't date outside his species.
What? I'm a straight male and I'm considering romancing Dorian or bull.
Solas, friend, Solas.
:-)

Only if you played ME2 and romanced him in ME2. That doesn't really count.

Maybe Esmerelda and Edith can go have a girls night and cry.

He's a romance, only if you play ME2 and continue in ME3. Yep, it counts.
(Even though i still wonder why they didn't make his romance open in ME3)

He doesn't count as an ME3 romance option if the only way to romance him is to carry it on from ME2.
And this isn't even getting into the fact that Kaiden can be dead. A female Shepard starting in ME3 or who didn't romance Garrus can have literally 0 options.

What they did to those who romanced Jacob too.
Ugh.
Hoping for Viv to be bisexual.

I don't agree that it "doesn't count" because of some specific circumstances you need to unlock the romance. Having an actual, literal zero options in ME1 and ME2, I feel very safe saying that it's not the same as an option you have a little more trouble unlocking.
What they did to those who romanced Jacob too.
Ugh.
People romanced Jacob?
I thought that was a myth.
"Oh hey i kind of started dating this chick after you got grounded. I hope thats okay."
What they did to those who romanced Jacob too.

Yeah Strait women really got screwed over with the romance options exept with thane you they knew what they were getting them selves in to from the start.

My main problem isn't about female straight options; i know they got it bad, just like gays. It's about male straight options since they got the most romances. And the most "perfect" ones since none of them died or cheated on him with a baby.
