Iron Bull was originally supposed to be Bisexual for all races except for Dwarves. They fixed that.

well in reality all peope have at least 4 options with the bis being an option for both straight and gay

Are you sure? I thought it was never confirmed exactly who IB was restricted from?
Iron Bull's restriction was a cinematic issue, the only issue that would apply to is Dwarves
Also IMO, it seems weird to have 3 (Iron Bull before the issue was fixed) three race-gated males
idk anymore talking about romancing fictional characters has altered my perception of reality ill just go buy a girl a ton of gifts ill be married within the week

Not if there are 5 males and only 3 females. If they race-gate any females with only three, then someone's definitely not getting two options.
I've definitely considered that Blackwall could be an option because it's a bit shocking that they only planned 2 options for gay males and still planned to lock one, but I'm leaning towards thinking they were just willing to do that at one point now.

David Gaider said they used the chart to make sure everyone got two choices (he used gay, male dwarves as the example) but I know at the time there was also a quote going around from Allan than said he "didn't think" it was always the case that all race combos would get two options, but that changed. Or, at least that was how people were taking his comment. It was quoted more than once in the old romance thread and the Solas thread, so maybe I can dig it up again. I know people generally don't like taking hearsay about quotes, which is understandable.

David Gaider said in a panel that they set the limit at two and he used a gender/race/sexuality combo as an example. That suggests it was important to them to make sure all combos had two options. If unlocking Iron Bull was just a side project that one dev did at home and it wasn't something they were banking on, it really contradicts that point.
I'm not saying that means Vivienne won't be the last options. Hetero Vivienne, locked to humans, is what I'm expecting. But I don't understand why they said that at GaymerX if it's.. not really the case.

I could easily have seen them doing that. Unfortunately, m/m options are the lowest priority based on the sheer numbers. It's probably why we had no options in ME1 or 2.
If Vivienne is Bi and race gated to humans only Cass (male only all races)- 1 for straight male humans, elves, dwarves and qunari Cullen (female only all races)- 1 for straight female humans, elves,dwarves and qunari Sera (female only all races)- 1 for gay female humans, elves, dwarves and qunari Dorian (male only all races)- 1 for gay male humans, elves, dwarves and qunari IB (Bi all races)- 1 for straight females and 1 for gay males Josephine (Bi all races)- 1 for gay females and 1 for straight males Solas (female elves only)- 1 for straight elf females Vivienne (bi humans only)- 1 for straight males and 1 for gay female 3 options for Straight Human Males, Gay Human Females and Straight Elf Females 2 options- everyone else

I was being universal. No matter what type of character you wish to play (within the confines that we tend to, for better or worse, adhere to a binary gender convention) choosing your race will not deny you choices.
EDIT: At least I'm 99% sure this is the case (it wasn't always).... I'll need to confirm.
