With locked Cullen, Solas and IB everyone could still have 2 options per-gender each apart from Dwarfs unless Blackwall is Bi and open to all races. Cullen could be Human (maybe Elf) only, Solas Elf only and IB everybody but Dwarfs. The only ones who would be under-represented were Dwarfs where if straight would have been stuck with Cassandra and Blackwall (Cullen seems unlikely, Solas is impossible and IB was gated from them) and if they were gay they'd only have Sera, Josephine (lesbians are fine) and Dorian.

The only types who would therefore have 3 choices are straight female Humans and all gay men, the only one to have 4 would be straight female elves assuming IB was always going to be OK with elf characters. This isn't exactly unlikely since they said things would not be equal to begin with but everyone having at least 2, Blackwall makes absolute sense for both straight female Qunari and Dwarfs and gay male Dwarfs.

That's probably because they're used to games giving them a deformed idea about what women 'should' look like. Giant inflatable backsides and willowy little bodies. 

Somehow I doubt it has anything to do with Miranda's personality.

 

Unfair comment, I think. Straight males are by far the biggest demographic for the ME games and if you did persue a straight male romance, you either had Kelly, Miranda or Jack to chose from. If you're not into punk chicks with attitude, you're choosing between one reasonably fleshed out character who you interact with a lot and one you can flirt with a bit while reading your mail.

Yes you could, and it would carry on to ME3, you could only initiate in ME2 however. It was cute too.

For the hundredth time. Elven warden was not dalish and the gates are for story reasons. Him having some issues with the dalish is just as plausible as any other gate. Especially if it's for religious "heathen" reasons. Dalish are just as much heathens as Qunari/dwarves.

If he's gated, I'm pretty sure it would be at least elves and humans.  We already have one male love interest gated to only female elves (Solas), so it's nearly certain they won't do the only elves path with Cullen. 

 

Edit: Possible he wouldn't like Dalish, I suppose, but my guess that would be a an issue with the PC's dialog choices (and the difficulty of them getting influence with him) rather than a hard gate.  That's just my opinion, though, obviously.

I'd hope if he had to be gated it would only be against elves mostly to balance out Solas who's only for elves. That and I want him for my Qunari
