Unless Blackwall is bi.
I just realized that before Iron Bull was un-gated either gay male Dwarves or straight female Dwarves would have only had one option.

While I believe there is no difference between companion LI's and non-companion LI's people were very vocal about it awhile back. I even specifally remember some some people saying that gay male players would "get the short end of the stick" and their exclusive LI would "only" be an NPC. Lo and behold, they are the only demographic who have access to two companion LI's as any race (going by what we know at the moment).
I fail to see how that is "getting screwed over".
Everyone always knew Cullen was the only male advisor and that he would never be gay. I don't really think anyone was actually saying that.
If there's no difference between companions and non-companions, then explain how Iron Bull and Dorian being companions matters even a little bit?
If you have the ability to count, then you can see extremely clearly how gay men have been screwed over.
Sorrell Lavellan's my main man and while I haven't exactly decided yet, Dorian looks like he'll be the closest companion.
Douchebag Adaar's with Iron Bull for shits and giggles.
I don't know what to think about the Bull...
I mean when I hear stuff like "dismissive alpha male" "James Bond of Qunari" , "he sleeps with everyone and then he moves on"...
I don't feel like romancing him with my mage.
I'll probably create an Inquisitor who also sleeps with everything that moves just for the Bull.

We didn't even know the advisors existed or that they would be the romanceable NPC's at that point. Some people thought that Dorian from the war room conecpt art was a chevalier military leader of the Inquisition.
So, if we can take a break from speculating about who will be the last LI out of the two; Who does everyone plan to romance out of the options so far?
Sera is first. I am also planning inquisitors for Josie, Dorian, Bull and Solas.
If Viv is revealed as the last option and she is available to females, she will be in there too.
I like Cass and Cullen but not enough to play a straight character. It's going to be hard enough doing that for Solas ;P I'm kind of hoping the two of them get together if you don't romance one of them. Reason being, in DA2 I have to romance Isabela or Fenris every time. I can't romance Merrill or Anders because I don't like the Izzy/Fenris thing so I keep having to stop them xD! So I wouldn't want characters I like doing that in DAI
If Blackwall is the last option and bi, it depends if I like his character. I don't like his looks (hate beards) so he would need to win over one of my inquisitors with personality.

I just don't think they would let people think Iron Bull was a real romance like this if he was just a fling. That would be really cruel.

If you have the ability to count then you can see extremely clearly that everybody has literally exactly the same amount of options except for female elves.
And companion status may not matter to me but it did matter to a lot of people.

We knew about the advisors by time they told us that there would be set sexualities. I remember making the old romance thread (v.2.0) right after they announced it and we already knew about Cullen then. In fact, we knew Cullen was a romance before we knew about NPC romances or set sexualities. People were still debating that he would be a party member because he was a romance when Greg Ellis leaked the information. The order of information was Cullen is a romance > set sexualities > there will be NPC romances. So, it was always clear it would be Cullen and he would be either bi or straight.

I would agree with you if you only had one option in the game or if it was like ME1 and you had none but as it stands you have just as much as heto-sexual Guys
so complaining and acting like an spoiled brat Grow Up it's just a game.
So, if we can take a break from speculating about who will be the last LI out of the two; Who does everyone plan to romance out of the options so far?
For Elke Trevelyan, human female warrior, definitely Cullen. For Sasani Trevelyan, human female mage, it was a toss up between Cullen and Solas, but it seems Solas will make that decision an easy one. For Aralan, my dalish rogue, he likely will do without romance. By the Creators, he's got more important things to do! Heh.
I may try a human male rogue and a female dalish mage, and they would likely pursue Cassandra and Solas respectively. We'll see how I feel after I complete the game three times.
I wonder if it's possible for Sasani to try to flirt with Dorian and get shot down? That could be interesting. Based on what little we know of him, I imagine he would be charming about it and let her down easy.
Don't have anyone planned yet except
Lothar Trevelyan: Cassandra (replace with Vivienne if she's available)
I've been waiting for further information before I start planning the rest, though I guess now it's safe to say my female Lavellan will romance Solas, as that's the only way to see that arc.
I don't give a damn about the racial aspect of Solas being gated. Elves are not real, so there is no elven audience benefiting from this at the expense of other disenfranchised groups. ![]()

Maybe you should give a damn about the fact that everyone who isn't playing a straight or bisexual female elf (read: any male Inquisitor, any lesbian Inquisitor or non-elf Inquisior) has exctly the same number of options. Because it completely neagates your argument that gay male Inquisitors are getting "screwed over".
"Just as many options as heterosexual guys"?
No. Heterosexual men have had dozens of other options, just in BioWare's backlog alone. And there have been millions of games where the only romance is straight romance, and there will be millions more.
Do not insult me by pretending we're in anything like the same boat. You have a cruise ship, I'm in a kayak at best.

I give this guy a week before he's banned.

In this game you have the exact same number of options, stop whining and be grateful for the equal divide.

In Inquisition they have the exact same number of options, so going by your definition the only way gay male players would not be "screwed over" is if they more options than everyone else (or at least more than straight male players).
I am not talking about "gay male inquisitors", for crying out loud.
I am talking about gay male people. Real homosexual men who live in a world where the vast majority of media either ignores them outright at best, or viciously mocks them with stereotypes at worst.
Yes, gay men are being screwed over. Not just by BioWare, but the world at large.

STOP CRYING LIKE A LITTLE BABY it a GAME.
Your not being screwed over you have two options Heterosexual men as of now have Two options Gay women have Two option Heterosexual women have 3 begin screwed over would mean you have nothing but you have two.

Gay male players have access to every LI. The gay male Inquisitor is the only one being in any way limited.
And this is completely avoiding the point. How are Gay male players being "screwed over" in Inquisition when the gay male Inquisitor has as many options as almost every other race/gender/sexuality combination?
If ALL the options in Inquisition were gay men, real life gay men would still be getting screwed over, because BioWare does not exist in a vacuum, and one game fixes nothing.
When BioWare gets publicity and praise for championing the cause of "inclusion in video games", yes, I am damn well going to criticise them.
I will not be "grateful" to a company for managing the apparently miraculous feat of recognising that my dollar is worth as much as a straight person's, anymore than I am "grateful" to random pedestrians for not punching me in the face.
