I actually would not mind that, even though my elven Inquisitors would be out of luck.  I'm sticking with the idea that Vivienne is the most likely candidate for race gating due to her interest in maintaining her public image.  That still leaves Blackwall fans out in the cold, though...   Too bad they can't both be LIs.

I think they'll tell us everything at once. I just can't see them stringing it along like this when everyone else is already out and they gave us everything about Solas when he leaked. I think that blog might tell us about both and they planned to release everything about both then.

I think you'll might be setting yourself up to disappointment tbh... Not that I wouldn't like things to go that way.

I know I'll be rocking a few playthroughs eventually.

 

Maybe even Solas, though as previously mentioned, I really really really don't want to play an elf.

 

And I'll probably enjoy it, no matter who gets announced. Whenever they do. I'm pretty flexible in my romance choice, when I choose to go for it. I anticipate my first playthrough will waltz blithely past all the pretty LIs, since that's the trend with me... But later!

I hope so, but to be fair, they've already been stringing us along for quite some time. Hopefully all of the negativity that's been present in these discussions will have at least some positive impact in the future in the form of Bioware just ripping off the Band-Aid and revealing all romance options as soon as they can.

I'm praying for a bisexual Blackwall. I might technically have three options, but they're three men I don't like (as in "the three most likely to be sacrificed"). So it's either Blackwall or more f/f for me. Not that there's anything wrong with f/f but the mismatch between what BW offers for f/m romances and what I like is approaching comedy.

So apparently we're getting the information about the last LI "fairly soon" after PAX.  Do people think that we are going to get the last three pieces of the puzzle at the same time:  the last LI, that person's sexuality, and the last race-gated LI?

 

I really hope so. I mean it's pretty silly how this is being kept under wraps like it's an earth shattering plot revelation.

Bi ungated Blackwall to balance out gated Solas and Cullen yeah. I can see it. I wouldn't be happy about it but at least my femQunari would have someone that wasn't the bull XD

That's assuming Cullen is race-gated against dwarves.

Yeah, I don't get it either. There are other things most ppl care more.... unless romance is indeed that popular outside of BSN.

I'm thinking it will be one of two things;

 

Vivienne, straight or bi, gated to only humans. I'm leaning towards straight, but maybe she will be bi.

 

Blackwall, bisexual, Cullen will be gated to only humans/elves.

 

Obviously it could be something else entirely, but those are the two options I'd bank on. Vivienne as a straight/human only option seems like the most likely outcome to me, at the moment.

Cullen is still "female only" without race gating. So straight female dwarves have as many LI as any female (well, elves have more now).
