I am in a bit of a dilemma... i wanted to play a dwarf female warrior, but i have no idea who to romance. i hoped for varric, but nope. Solas is racegated and the others she can't bloody reach.
Other female dwarves out there ans who are gping to romance?
Going one with Iron Bull and Ancestors willing I can put the other up with either Blackwall or Vivienne. I also have another lined up for Josephine but I think most of my dwarfs so far may just romance Iron Bull.

Options for you are Cullen, Iron Bull, Sera and Josephine so far ^^ Depending if you want to be straight/gay/bi of cource.
5 bucks says last LI will be Vivienne with gender lock to male Inquisitors.
$5 says the last LI is Blackwall with no gating and is available to male and female Inquisitors. I expect payment upfront, cash only, no exceptions! (I'm kidding, btw.) I'm actually expecting to lose as I've yet to be right when it comes to LI guessing games. Eh, there's a first time for everything, right?

Not sure when I'll complete a femDwarf playthrough, but when I do, she'll probably romance Blackwall (if he's an option). If not Blackwall, then maybe Bull. Bull's actually more her type than Beardy, but the beard. The BEARD.
yeah except Thane wasnt bi so I dont care, BI BLACKWALL, YEAH!
My elven male warrior would definitely be down with a bi Blackwall; so would my human lady rogue and dwarven male warrior. All but two of my Inquisitors love the Beard. The two who don't are more into Bull and Solas respectively. They prefer bald over beards, I guess. Oh well, their loss. ;P
Not sure if those who hope for asexual romance would be happy at all.. but Darkspawn LI would most likely be asexual. They don't have genitalia so there would be no sex. But in other hand do they have romantic feelings either?
And? Several romances have had extenuating circumstances. Morrigan might have been using the Warden, albeit in order to combat her mother's plans. Zevran was polyamorous and was paid to murder you at first. Merrill was a blood mage. Anders became a terrorist.
Iron Bull is a paid mercenary. Solas is only interested in female elves, suggesting he is using her for some ulterior motive (possibly benevolent, but not necessarily). Vivienne wanting a little social mobility doesn't seem so far-fetched to me.
None of these circumstances means that genuine love didn't form between the two characters over time, though.
Out of the previous romances, Morrigan's was the only one with dubious or questionable motivations. Regardless of how the other LIs started out or ended up, none of them were attempting to use the PC for anything... uh... except sex, I guess. Even though Morrigan may have genuinely fallen for the Warden, there is no evidence of this. While this could still be a possibility in the situation you described, knowing from the start that someone is interested in me just so that they can get ahead is a huge turn off. I mean, what's to stop them from jumping ship if they see a better opportunity? Why would I want to let somebody use me in the first place? lol... If that's what you're into, fine. I would find it very unsatisfying, however, and would not give such a "romance" a second glance. All I'm saying is that if Vivienne is the final LI, I hope she has a better romance plot than that...

OT, but that male Trevelyan inquisitor is very handsome. I wonder if that will be his default face in the CC.
Likely the default face. From the little piece of the CC we saw at Gamescom it looked like most of the presets looked really good.

I think the thing with Morrigan is that given her background you can't really expect her to be perfect in a romance. I mean this is a person who has had no connection with anyone other than her mother and we all know how Flemeth is. Given her history I belived that Morrigan could bring herself to love the Warden but ultimately she felt like she was compromising who she was to be with him and in the end she chose not to betray herself. Personally I never went in the Morrigan romance expecting everything to turn out great, I definitely give her kudos for making a choice that was for her rather than forcing herself to be with my Warden.
Well, I tried to word that as diplomatically as possible... "may have been dubious," "questionable," etc... I don't have any strong feelings one way or the other about Morrigan, but I figured I should at least acknowledge that her motives were... not as transparent as the other LIs. Whatever she may or may not have felt at the end of DA:O is a matter of speculation IMO.

This is a pretty bold statement to make - perhaps he's only attracted to female elves.
People don't need a reason to not be sexually interested in everything under the sun. Solas doesn't need to be bisexual or attracted to every race just because people have the idea that he's "open-minded", or whatever.

Pretty sure the devs have already stated there's a story reason for being elf-exclusive, so I doubt it comes down to just preference.

So......I was right on the straight people! Although, I think I was mostly in hopeful denial on Dorian and Sera. I REALLY wanted them to available for hetero romance. Didn't get my wish. I also thought that Solas and Vivienne would not be romances and Varric would. Totally wrong on Solas and Varric, jury is out on Viv and Blackwall.
Man, I think for the next game, I'm going to steer clear of guessing LIs other than the straight ones. It seems to be what I'm best at.

Yeah, I hope they come to aid us in the campaign. Darkspawn taint is a powerful weapon against demons afterall and the Awakened Darkspawn are smart enough to realize the Breach threatens them as well.
Maybe The Messenger can be a MP character we can play as.
