I think that either Cullen or Cass will be the next race gated LI. Just a feeling.

 

No thanks, that would take even more options away from straigt non-elf females. Cass being race-gated, I still hope not for that since she's already gender-gated, people would be so sad...

 

No idea what devs have planned though, Solas was such a shock that I don't know what to except for last romance and race-gating.

Agreed. If Cass is gated then the last LI has to be Vivienne, otherwise straight males of some races won't have two options.

Similarly, if Cullen is gated against anything besides elves, then the last LI has to be Blackwall, otherwise straight female dwarves or qunari (whichever he would be gated against) would only have 1 option.

Of the two, I think it's more likely that Cullen is gated based on what we know about him. He's said some pretty crappy things about dwarves and qunari, so it would make sense for his character.

On the other hand, there's always the possibility that the last gated LI is either Sera or Dorian, as well.

I doubt there will be more than two bisexual/pansexual, non-gated LIs.

Either Viv/Blackwall is gated or:

 

- Cass is gated, Viv is straight ungated

- Cullen is gated, Blackwall is straight ungated

- Sera is gated, Viv is gay ungated

- Dorian is gated, Blackwall is gay ungated.

 

Of course they could make them bi as well. But those are probably the conditions we have.

I think blackwall will not be a LI. I mean, he's a gray warden for who-knows-how long? Maybe he's just going to do his stuff and stays away from romance. My money is on viv ( but I silently pray for blackwall... )

They have a blog post written about it that at least one BioWaran over the weekend thought had already been posted.  My guess would be that it is in approvals, so it might be today, or it might be weeks from now when someone important makes the decision.  

 

Of course, in theory it might be only about Solas, but I get the strong feeling from how they spoke about it that it will finish off ID'ing the love interests.
