What's this retroactive bullshit you're trying to pull here? I thought this was about equality, not shifted imbalance.
People never cared about fairness. They only care about their demograhic or what affect them. ( not saying it's bad, but that's the reality of it, and I'm tired about this lie using the wrong word ) The same people using this word were gloating or indifferent about others having less, or were pretty satisfied when they got more, like those straight female gamers, even more greedy when it comes to Blackwall. ( I'm not saying it's bad, but that's the reality ), not even bothered for most of them they would have twice than others. People use the argument of history, but that doesn't change anything. They don't really fight for equal numbers. They would learn that their own demographic got more in another situation, they would harshly defend the idea and would tell to straight to deal with it. Anything bad that happens in one game to some is okay because of the past when you read all those pages.
The difference with the tone nowadays with the one one or two months ago with Gaider claiming that they don't feel the need to give equal numbers is just astonishing. People probably thought that straight guys would be screwed, so it was okay, but it happens that it's not proably the case, so now the rage comes. ( Not saying it's bad, but it's just telling )
Anyways we are in a " walking dead situation " Because of the harsh situation with Bioware not willing to give equal numbers, people end up fighting each other for their own fate. ( It was also funny to see all those straight guys complaining about fairness only when they were concerned, ) It will continue in the futures games.
This is exactly why I stopped to bother while before I was truly concerned by equality in the romance area, and now do not care about who is screwed.
