I loved ME3MP with all my heart, but i have the feeling I did everything that could be done in that game. For me the highlight of the ME3MP was the absolutely fantastic BSN community that grew around it.

These are strange times we live in, when I don't epect much of BioWare's SP story, but just want to smack things with fellow BSNers. In my memory I cherish the times when tuesday (or was it wednesday?) was the peak of every week, when we gathered around, shouting "CTHULHU FANGANTH!!!" "KRYSAE OP BIOWER NERF PLOX!!!", when on every friday our hearts filled with despair when the commendation pack included just an Eagle...

Will something like this happen for Dragon Age? Of course, it will be a little different; for example I won't be that disappointed in DA:I ending because of some fundamental differences between franchises (and the fact that the quality drop already happened in DA). Will we have a BioWare overlord that will listen to us shouting "Axes too weak!!!! Bioware, please sharpen the axes!!!" "Ice too strong!!! Bioware please shorten the freeze time because I can solo Lyrium with an ice mage!!!!"

Will we get the weekly challenges? Weekly Dragon Hunts? Weekly Pride Demon Purges?

I'm slowly getting hyped.

Looking forward to the MP and the second nerf wars which are sure to follow on the forums over balance changes.

Although this time around I hope they don't let power creep get away on them quite so much.

if they avoid power creep they'll avoid the nerf wars that went with it.
Having class restrictions on gear should help as well, so with any luck it won't be as bad this time.

Although people will still cry because that rogue or mage pulled their warrior through the game to completion so clearly must be nerfed.

There will be challenges and weekly challenges.  I have a feeling there will be less balance changes re weapons though due to the nature of crafting and improving them in smaller increments.  I could be totally off base though.

There will still be smaller nerf wars from the people who think that co-op should be tightly balanced, as well as from those who think everything should be more difficult.

but it would mean nothing like the AIU or Reegar Carbine would happen again.

BioWare has terabytes of data to base balance changes around so they can harvest maximum community tears.

The weekly challenges were already confirmed, and Bioware will be putting in support for a longer period of time then they did ME 3 (which had it over a year). As for balances of course, tears don't flow on their own ;)

haha.  I can make fun of people crying over nerfs in co op games all day.....but I will say Diablo 3 and all that hacked bs equipment makes the game really suck and it feels like everyone that plays the game has it.  It wasn't but a few days after all of that started that I quit playing completely.....i guess rarely ill play offline.

Bioware pls nerf BSN. Start New Topic is OP. Clearly. It's absurd to have an ability that lets you tank, draw all aggro, and then set fire to all aggro'd targets, reducing their critical thinking abilities. It even has a chance to bring down a Banhammer sync kill on your opponents.

Biovar pls

Well if bioware care for the sanity of the forum moderators they won't release any uber powerful characters/ gear then severely nerf two weeks later.

I'm sure they learned a lot from ME3 though and perhaps with more experienced play testers things will be fine tuned a little better before release. Do that and no need for nerf wars.

I guess it's up to to the pre release play testers whether the forum burns or not.

Oh man, I remember waiting for The Fagnan to release balance changes and watching the rage threads popup. Those were good times.

Hope there will be no doped Geth with a dreaded stunlock again! And hopefully no Falcon, Krysae, Reegar, Piranha, AIU and Turian Ghost!

Tuesday was always a good day. Did they actually realize how much more entertainment the weekly balance changes provided?

It was sometimes hard to decide between looking at the rage and tears in the forum and figuring out the changes in a match of MEMP.

Yea, I liked it a lot and I'm looking forward to it again.
