I suspect she's a tomboy or a feminist. I can't figure that one out.

Or neither. These just seem to make sense to me, specificly the tomboy thing.

Hm...

I would want a less exagerated female walk (call it neutral walk/male walk if you like), too (because strutting around a battlefield like you want to draw sexual attention/are wearing heels is not a good idea IMHO and it looks foolish/stupid)

I am not a feminist (not that I don't think in the past feminism was needed (I am totaly against gender-roles) - I am a humanist (full equality, no gender bias, same standards (like in the military, the police, the fire department etc.), equal obligations (signing up for the draft in states where it applies for example) and equal rights (no picking all the good things and leaving the bad - like getting to vote without having had to fight in wars for it...note: most people who die in wars are...MEN!))

I do like tomboys however, too (I don't like girly girls much though...can't stand handbags, dresses, much make-up, heels etc....I'd rather have a down to earth jeans wearing tomboy than a high maintenance feminine woman who can't even carry a crate of water from the car to the house/flat)

I like women who have a male like demeanor/poise - they tend to be more honest IMHO, too (more direct - if you prefer that...most women wont tell you to your face if you are being an ass (they will talk with other women about you behind your back, but never to you directly), these women however will confront you - and I like that)

Note: I am male (just to clarify that)

greetings LAX

ps: I have been re-thinking my decision for DA:I - I have downgraded it to 5/10 (I will probably still get it...benchmark for future EAware purchases is still a valid reason for me)

With the voiced protagonist, I was never going to go higher than 7/10.

But with the weapon restrictions, the limited customisation options, the 8 ability limit, and the apparent focus on action-combat, right now I'm probably at 5/10.

Not really that excited from what I have seen so I will be taking the wait and see approach.  I don't see myself buying it until after the new year probably will wait for the price to drop.

I am hyped, and I wants it now. 9.436/10, slightly more than enough to override my "Never pre-order anything ever" stance.

I don't know, really. On the one hand, it has the good fortune to be an RPG coming out in what has been an extremely lean time for the genre, and there still aren't many developers who make these kinds of games (i.e there are other RPGs out there, but not really this kind, mainly due to how expensive they are to make). So in such a starved environment, I'll definately be giving it a shot. I liked both previous DA games too, but....

I must say that most of what I've seen does not encourage me. The game's plot seems like such a backwards step, right back to the old formula of 'Ancient Evil invades, everyone comes together to fight the menace etc etc', your characters are removed from ordinary society in their silly 'Fortress of Badassness' and have their special VIP 'We're part of a secret Order' thing... It all seems very tired. And the fact that multiplayer seems to be Bioware's main focus these days, working it into everything - ME3, now DA"I and then their new game is some multiplayer only nonsense. And I accept that many people welcome this, but for me it just looks like them getting their priorities completely wrong. And I'm not jazzed about the characters, I'm worried about the gameplay...

But hey, the proof will be in the pudding. The fact is I really enjoyed the first 2 games, so I have to try and keep an open mind and hope this one will be good too. I just think that Bioware is really changing these days and none of it is for the good IMO. This game is going to have to be pretty damn special to convince me otherwise, but I am prepared to give it that chance.

So how excited? I'd say about 4.5/10. It really should count itself lucky that the last couple of years have been basically dead for story driven RPGs, because the first impressions of this game have done it no favors whatsoever.

Ehhhh, 5/10

So far the only positives for me: Voiced protagonist, Hawke and the Warden(or whoever he's suppose to be), and the promise of choices actually affecting the outcome of the story and/or quest.

Negatives: Multiplayer, still no decent Character Creator(no body sliders WTF?!), story seems to focus on some generic ancient evil instead of the Mage rebellion, and Cassandra's "new" face(I mean damn you can cut meat on that).

My biggest concern is that story and their promise of choices/consequences will probably fall apart during the 3rd act...again. Basically my overall opinion on the future of this franchise and the Mass Effect series is completely riding on how well this game turns out. And to see if BioWare actually learned anything from their last debacle.

So far it doesn't look like it, but I'll give it a shot....eventually.

5 out of 10, Not a big enough DA fan to be going nuts about it.

It looks high quality and will probably be my favorite of the 3 games so far, but it's too hard to tell for now.

20/10

The extended release date basically destroyed me.

I'm an emotional coconut... maybe a pineapple.
