I love it how Origin brings up the 'Dragon Age Keep' thing after you enter the code, getting my hopes up that I've beaten everyone else and gotten in...only to then say the code has already been entered.
...actually, I hate it. Bah.

So ummm.. why did i see the pic here 15s earlier than i saw it on my constantly refreshing twitter account. Basically depending on where you are i guess you get data faster and it makes it impossible for me to win.
The twitter website is a bit slower than using an app that calls on the twitter API try tweetdeck (for desktop)

As someone who has been waiting since beta sign-up opened (and someone who has been up all night waiting for codes I am not fast enough to type) I don't mind them keeping things interesting. I'm glad that someone is getting in, even if I'm a forever sad panda. It's not like them not handing out codes on Twitter in silly ways would actually get me in any faster!
I would have thought at least the first few waves of people that signed up had got in before they did this. Hmmmmm. well I guess since we all get in before release its all good, but people in that situation should be in IMO. People dedication and passion for you games/content should be very important IMO. Of course then people could say well I didn't have the time, or I didn't know, or thats playing favorites blah blah blah....people will always complain about something i guess.

lol If I'd had the foresight to sign up that early I'd be pretty miffed about randoms getting in earlier than I because of some marketing stunt. You're clearly a better person than I lol. That makes me kind of glad I didn't sign up so early.
I'm sure that hundreds - maybe thousands - of people who signed up after me are already in the beta, since selection has nothing to do with when you sign up. At least this time people are getting in because they're better than me at puzzles and typing fast. (Rather than because they have some mysterious quality that the people running the beta are looking for which I evidently lack
.)

We dont know the criteria they select on, but it hasnt been apply date. Also over 100,000 people applied.

Really? See my reasoning is reversed; people getting selected before me by BW during a beta doesn't sting because well...its BETA...this isn't some contest to be won. BW are looking for people across a wide swath of experience and system specs so they can stress test their app properly and get appropriate feedback. That, to me, is completely justified and understandable. This, on the other hand, has nothing to do with a person's eligibility as a beta tester.

Well, it's more that I fret that my application was terrible, and that's why I haven't got in. I swear, if I had a TARDIS, I would go back and write that thing properly! (OK, so if I had a TARDIS I would probably be playing Dragon Age V already. You get my point.) At least this time I know for sure why I'm a sad panda.
