The thing about the "forgotten ones" that we "killed" is that they were really forgotten by the rest of the world. I could be wrong but the 1st one in DAO was luring people in a trap, DA was undergound protecting the fell grimoire, Imshael was sealed until crazy elves wanted his power.
Ishmael was summoned from the Fade and then imprisoned. while Gaxkang was an abominations who was able to get into the mind of someone.
The only conflict is that the Forbidden One's supposedly were the one who taught blood magic to the people of thedas. but that was in the fade where they were free to roam unlike the Old Gods or Forgotten Ones. and we have always heard the Forbidden Ones and the Forgotten ones described as two separate things.
Most likely they are a band of demons who are from the same entity giving them some type of family feeling for each other. which is why i don't believe the Formless One is the EO because why would Felassan know that the chaos is coming before a fellow Forbidden One.

i would suggest keeping it to yourself just to be safe for the other people and i think bioware asked people not to post spoilers from the art book.
