We are varying degrees of really ****** close.

 

It should be noted that the scenes in the artbook do not even slightly shy away from showing us the "Face" of the opposing faction, and this character seems to be visible very early in the game.

 

Now, would you consider what it mentions of the mechanics of Red Lyrium or the Fade to be spoilers?

I have the art book. About the big spoiler, well, let's say that I don't need to revise my opinion that Bioware is incapable of subtlety when it comes to these things. Unless they're being deliberately misleading, which is still a possibility.

 

I like everything else, though. And that's saying something since there's a lot of content in it.

Well, the right things have been discussed in this thread, and I think I've dismissed a few rather unfairly.

Same, some people have definitely guessed right so far.

My curiousity is getting the better of me, how did the darkspawn look in the artbook? we haven't seen any ingame footage of DAIs version of them yet

There weren't really many pictures of the different sorts of Darkspawn.

That makes sense, given that they absolutely will be a minor part of the game. What i was mostly curious about was if they kept the style from DA2 or changed anything about them.

I'm not sure.

But it's infectious, and described as growing like tumors. It also shows up around the breach.

 

The Fade:

As for the Fade, apparently time doesn't work normal there. You can apparently travel to different points in the Fade's timeline, and can even travel closer to its creation.

 

Also, the Fade gets more chaotic the closer you get to the Black City, which is odd because I was under the impression that the Black City was always the same distance away.
