Since the Spider thing is most likely tied to the finding the Warden Commander, I think we can write it off as the least likely candidate for the EO.

 

As for the Rival thing, that could mean someone else who is trying to save Thedas, but doesn't like the Inquisitor and not the EO, because it didn't sound like the EO at least not to me.

Well the complete quote is "I will not suffer even an unknowing rival, you must die." I don't think he exactly sees you as a rival at that point, but more as a nuisance and won't let the Inquisitor become a rival, obviously that fails but still.

So i think at that point when that sound clip is being said he doesn't want you to be a rival and wants to kill you to make sure you wont be one.

 

Also you notice that the entity of shadow or whatever is speaking next to a fade Tear and if that is the EO maybe he can't leave the Fade quite yet. or when he is on thedas he is formless so he wants the venatori and other people to do his work for him because he isn't exactly manifested yet.

If you listen to the God quote in the Enemy trailer and the Rival quote in the Hero trailer it sounds like the exact same voice actor. so i'm pretty positive that voice is the EO

It's totally the Elder One.  He's just speaking a bit more quietly, not the same boom as "Bow before your new god and be spared".

I don't have the best hear for accents but I could swear that when he says "You will resist, you will always resist." he is speaking with an heavy french accent.

The Elder One is definitely the King of Shadows.

They've been hinting at it with the Chantry having the same logo as Neverwinter

So i think the Zombie necro dragon thing is more of a henchman or maybe a transformation but i think that shadow form is really what the elder one is on thedas, maybe he is that dragon inside the fade but i most definitely think that's our first look at the elder ones face.
