Hold on i was looking the story up more. Jennifer Hepler was i guess for a time a Senior Writer on DA:I but quit so she could do freelance work and i guess she is writing a book, so i really don't know.

the Wiki says she was Gaiders "Second in command" and i guess she wrote "3 large critical path plots."

I believe Legacy was written (Or mostly written) by Jennifer Hepler, she was one of the writer for DA2 but she isn't for DA:I, i don't know why, i think she might have retired or went into a different occupation, i really don't know, but David Gaider was still the lead writer so he most likely still had oversight on the entire thing.

more like forced retirment it was a dark time on the net the fan hate was maddness.

Hmmm im thinking if we can review the past writers methods we can disern his idenity

What I hope is that Cory is a red herring.  Something I remember them saying is that the Inquisition doesn't know what the EO is and a lot of the game is trying to find that out.  So unlike DA:O where from the beginning you knew who and what was the big bad, here we don't.  While we may have a title, Elder One, everything else is up in the air.  So what I would like to see is the Inquisition trying to find things out.  Some times they are wrong.  So they may go after Cory thinking he is the EO, which might explain some of the leaks, but in reality he isn't.  A pawn maybe.

We can hope...cause if Cory is the big big bad I'll be a sad panda :crying:

I don't know so much about that, the more news articles i read it seems more like misunderstanding, some saying she left because of harassment others says it was just bad timing and she was already planning to quit before the harassment story broke. I really don't know.

But still, her being a writer and her writing Legacy i think is just a stretch as evidence that the EO is Corypheus.

OMG...shudders.

The horror (I actually enjoyed DA2), but a paid prequel dlc to find out the big secret of the next game.  That would be evil.

What if they really did pull a FF6. Just like right at some random point, the EO shows up, attacks Skyhold and just opens the breach up entirely and the rest of the game is fighting in a fade world.

I finally recognized the voice of the Elder One from the trailers! it is the same voice as the Profaine from the deep roads in DAII that offers to tell you the way out if you kill the acient rock wraith for him. Its the same voice.

just thought I would share. . . .

Well Patrick weekes was the Senior writer on ME3 and i guess wrote the whole Quarrian Geth war which was one of the more heart breaking moments, and i guess he said to David Gaider that it was a mistake to write the peace option in. so i'm still hopeful.

I think he only regretted the peace option when he saw the ending Hudson and Walters conjured.

Well in the story David Gaider played ME3 and liked how well written the Quarrian Geth war thing went, but when he learned there was a third option he spoke to Patrick Weekes, so its probably because that third choice took all the moral dilemma from the decision since you knew exactly which one was the good choice and which ones were the bad ones.

Not everything has to do with the cop out ending  :P

Even if it's the same voice actor, the Profane sound nothing like Corypheus.

Well they probably mixed it, like they do with most voice actors who are playing creatures, like the Krogan, or Reapers, etc.

hold up i have theory on that...

What if he's the "father" in the sense of he created the inquisitor fade powers as a experiment that went awry not turned into frankenstein's monster

Or the actor just have that much talent.

Sorta like Miranda Raison sounding nothing like Cassandra or Dulci De Launcet (Miranda voiced like half the female NPCs in DA2).

Listening to all the voices, the EO does sound like the Rock Wraith, but in my opinion he doesn't sound like Cory.
