hold up i have theory on that...

What if he's the "father" in the sense of he created the inquisitor fade powers as a experiment that went awry not turned into frankenstein's monster

He could be, but I'm more inclined to believe that the Inquisitor's powers came about as an indirect result of the EO actions.  The EO set the actions in motion to blow up the peace summit.  He expected everyone to die there, but the Inquisitor didn't...for reason to be revealed later.  These reasons were outside the EO control, but the EO and the Inquisitor are still linked by the event.  So in essence, the EO is responsible for the powers we get, just not be design.

What about the Green Lady? Perhaps the explosion and mass death made her curious, or temporarily allowed her to come into the Fade and as a result gave us fade sealing abilities or more

I don't know, what it sounds like from the stream that we didn't get an explanation who she is, and the masses think its Andraste.

Yeah, I believe whatever that green thing was may have been sealed beyond the fade or at the very least not interested in the affairs of mortals anymore.

If The explosion/breach is one of the steps to free the Elder One then surely other entities that were sealed off (old gods?elf gods, etc) could muster whatever strength they have temporarily break free or something. Atleast long enough to make contact with whatever is near.

Somebody theorized the shadow figure we encounter saw may be the eo, but lacked the power to fully manifests.

Clearly, the EO has plenty of people helping it, but that Glowing lady (which is its opposite color wise) only has us and whatever we choose to do with the power she gave us.

Other words, we are working for it, while the leader of the big bad is working for that shadow. Willingly or not

Well the art book is apparenyly uber vague(from what i heard) so they arent spoilers but possiblities that. Are more likely but still somewhat "off"

maybe get a mod to do it?

it is definetly not anything close to vague. It tells you in pretty much BIG BLOCK letters who the big bad is..Literally it has "BIG BAD" in big writing then who it is.

Well since people have asked for us to PM the answer it would show not everyone does know.

Also those talks about the BIG BAD have a spoiler tag, so i don't know what spoilers you are speaking of, unless you are talking about our speculation which are in no way spoilers.

Maybe we shouldn't take Elder One too seriously. It may be a moniker given by the followes same as we're being called the Herald? For the most part I see dualitys. I'd list them but I'm on mobile. ! But what really caught be was:

Well in the story David Gaider played ME3 and liked how well written the Quarrian Geth war thing went, but when he learned there was a third option he spoke to Patrick Weekes, so its probably because that third choice took all the moral dilemma from the decision since you knew exactly which one was the good choice and which ones were the bad ones.

Not everything has to do with the cop out ending  :P

Well it does take that you have played at least ME2 before you can get that option.

that doesn't not make it the right choice. adding the third option destroys the moral dilemma and leaves it simply to, Good choice, Bad choice.

the choice with the krogan was hard, Maybe you have to kill mordin, or make the krogan go extinct, or kill wrex, or deal with no aid from the salarians. but the Gath, Quarrian choice was completely and absolutely simple because of that third option.

At that point you only had right and wrong choices. but without that option you had a moral debate of who is right, the Quarrian who want their home world back, or the Geth who are just defending themselves and have been from the very start.

Again it depends on who is in charge and if Eva is alive and which again is depends on if you played the previous games.

Also it's not a fair judgment in ME3 the geth gets portrayed as victims in the morning war so the dilemma gets more one sided rather then fair judgment where it shows both sides were wrong and both sides should stop fighting also the peace option isn't a stupid option or an option that shouldn't be there after all it's just a matter of convincing the war hungry qunarian general Han to stop fighting.

After all most people sided with the geth in ME despite that they have slaughtered billions in the morning war, but that's not mentioned in ME3 other then a few Qunarians managed to escape.

Also why get remind about such moral choices when we already get lots of those every day in RL? RL sucks getting reminded of that might as well stop playing games and watch the news. This is an RPG you don't have to choose the peace option for other people who want get the best option possible isn't unfair to ask for not everyone wants to play RL for some RL is pretty much hell or have been for some.

Also off topic so let's stop this.

I don't think we will really face off against the EO personally.  I'll go with the Elder One is the "spirit guardian" and his servants(s) are the equivalent of the Inquisition. The EO is claiming to be a god, the Inquisitor is claimed to be the Herald of a prophet/god, they can't really compare to each others. Saying that their might still be some dualism at work if there is a religious figurehead with special powers that fill in for the Inquisitor spot, 3 servile groups for diplomacy/spying/forces and someone else who is kind of independent from all the rest and really push everything forward (that's Cassandra for the Inquisition).

* train whistle* all aboard now leaving the bsn for theoryville

New theory: what if the elder one is a gesalt of spirits and somehow bonded with a mortal and became a super abomination and the elder one is a reference to the spirit(s) age and not the mortals
