Too tired to continue much more today.  I would have to reread this thread to make sure I am not touching on what you may have already discussed.  But...we know Blue Lyrium exists as does Red but do we know that is all?  Could there be more?  Like say Black?

If there is green they better make another Superman joke like they did in DA:O

If the so called Black City was made of Black Lyrium, what might it do to anyone who went there?  Have to go for now.  I'll reread everything later.

When all 7 colors of lyrium are gathered and harnessed during the Lyrium War it's end will herald The Darkest Twilight.

Shoot. Having a yellow lyrium power ring seems nice. The power to utilise my opponents' fear against them would be most useful.

I ain't even american originally, i came from Norway back in the late 90s.

I got more to say about my neighbors over there then i do about some folks who happen to have a differing skin color, i mean that's a sensible reason to dislike folks.

Their ancestors did horrible things to your people, and vice versa.

Its ludicrous to base it on pigmentation, but that's me.

The city was golden on the outside according to Cryp.

Uh...

Let's see how to sum how Norway briefly.

Well, The Frozen Shoals and inlets are beautiful, Norway facing the ocean is this blend of nature and man meshing together, we have cities there obviously, trade and fishing and alike but the impact for the most part is minute because its just such a pain to do anything around the coastlands. I mean you have to build for conditions that can go -30 and down, and most structures wouldn't last very long out there, so what you will find in coastal cities is a bunch of frozen concrete and ice,Further inland you get a bit more temperate but its still pretty chilly all year round compared to the majority of the United States.

Oslo is a large city, and probably the one i could talk most about considering that was where i was born, lived and stayed until i was a man, i didn't here until i had already lived a decent bit of my life over there. It's populous but still not as crampt as some of the cities over here, its more spaced out as well, it has industrial and residential centers don't get me wrong, but its arranged differently. It isn't just randomly pressed together, Norway hasn't had a serious population explosion like some countries, its been gradually growing and the cities in the country reflect it.

Uh, Lets see what else, what do you really want to know about it anyway? I can spew random information all day but it would like be more akin to what you want to hear if you gave me a topic.

Although speaking of topic, this is sort of offtopic, much as i like talking about home.

Concerning Lyrium, my pet theory is that Red Lyrium is blighted Lyrium, though that will undoubtedly turn out to be false. It should turn out to be related though, for the way that it sings a song to those it corrupts. Then again Lyrium also does that, but only to spirits. Mayhap Red Lyrium is just a variation of Lyrium from another realm, like the Black City or the Fade or the world beyond the Eluvians.

As for the Elder One, I'm still partial to the theory that he is, trapped in the Black City and has been manipulating people to come free him. He might have been trapped by the taint himself, and thus his first attempt to escape actually failed, or he might have given the the taint to the magisterial in order to eventually, get at the Old Gods who keep his prison separated from the rest of the Fade. With enough Old God's dead, his prison is weakened and he can finally make an escape attempt.

Perhaps if the latter is true, the Red Lyrium is his as well and is just another forum of corruption to help create the circumstances that would allow his escape. If both the Dark spawn taint and Red Lyrium are the Elder One's, it would make his identity likely to be one of the Forgotten Ones.
