The elder one is Dumat. All hail the return of Silence.
Its funny that he was the god of silence since in the legend it says he taught the magisters blood magic and how to enter the golden city. so he wasn't that silent.

Necro-dragon theory thats new
Remember in the Mage origin in DA:O how you meet a demon shape shifted into a bear? maybe the necro dragon is kinda the same.
i think he was like me quiet til you put them with friends.... then he never shuts upIts funny that he was the god of silence since in the legend it says he taught the magisters blood magic and how to enter the golden city. so he wasn't that silent.
ah yes stupid bear almost got me (glitched and wouldnt die for like 10 mins)Remember in the Mage origin in DA:O how you meet a demon shape shifted into a bear? maybe the necro dragon is kinda the same.
i love that time through the fade. its one of the more times i feel like the fade is full of all types of things. the time with the sloth demon is boring as hell to me.
It wasnt pleasent for all.
Should of teamed up with it. the guy just takes you to the demon and says goodbye and leaves you alone.
We should really get back on topic XD
Yes we should.
Tal had a theory yesterday on lyrium spectrums and so i thought perhaps this black lyrium is a natrual/unnatrual fusion of blue and red lyrium. The theory that red is sentient and blue is from the fade allowed it to become a true being a alagmation of the mortals dreams if you will. This elder one then creates green lyrium that cause a breach and veil tears with complete ease allowing for demons pour out. He does this cause if it bonds with a mortal it gets warped ant losses its god like properties but if bonds to a powerful demon it can become a true god in a sense
I don't think they are going to go with rainbow lyrium, that seems a bit immature to me, like i hope they go with something more thought out, and more ambiguous.
sorry that just makes me think of the RE series how its like every game is this new unknown virus that is so crazy and totally more dangerous then the last. it just gets old quick.
it does but im just going off Tal's possible thought good idea but even ill go off and say "i leaped into the abyss instead of logic" hahaI don't think they are going to go with rainbow lyrium, that seems a bit immature to me, like i hope they go with something more thought out, and more ambiguous. sorry that just makes me think of the RE series how its like every game is this new unknown virus that is so crazy and totally more dangerous then the last. it just gets old quick.

Though i really like the redesign of the lyrium, instead of the Spiral spikes that were in DA:O now they are more like gems that are vein like.
yes they look more like more mineralThough i really like the redesign of the lyrium, instead of the Spiral spikes that were in DA:O now they are more like gems that are vein like.

I really wonder if the Elder one has any real connection with red lyrium or if that will be handled in another game. because every game is just another part of the story in thedas, so not everything will be handled in one game.
Hmm well during e3 demo and all situations related to him red lyrium has been around. And during the extended demo of e3 when you pick up red lyrium dorian says something like it could help in redcliff
Well some infections come in winter (winter being the elder one, infection being red lyrium)
well we can only see. hey remember the dragon in the trailer, kinda looks like the inquisitor is mind melding with it?
The elder one is Dumat. All hail the return of Silence.
I suppose that can be a possibility. Those shrines dedicated to him in the Deep Roads did feel like something bigger was at work. While I wouldn't mind Dumat making a return, I want something different that isn't just the Archdemon all over again. Who knows perhaps history got it wrong and Dumat wasn't slain but perhaps was free from the taint and thus the Blight was defeated. Or maybe Flemeth did the same with with Morrigain in the past with another Daughter and Dark Ritual'd Dumat..
Yeah i do *scrolls to theories* tell me what are your new thoughts. Its almost as killd's theory that they are willing to ally with the inq
No but i was just thinking, so we know their is some connection between you and the dragon, and then we see the dragon attacking the necro dragon, but remember in the gameplay trailer when it shows you attacking the wardens? right after they show the same kind of dragon land on a watch tower. maybe an ally?
well i'm pretty sure that spirit is just Divine Justinia, considering the hat she is wearing. and it might have not been at birth, and we don't know much about high dragons or great dragons. supposedly the old gods would talk to the magisters in their dreams, so maybe its the same.
