If Flemeth is formless one that puts her at odds with EO yes?
She does foil some his plans like stopping the blight and rescuing Hawke (which helped her to survive in case the Warden kills her) whether or not Hawke helped spoil the plans of the EO in DA2 is a bit debatable in some areas.

I don't think the EO was responsible for the Blight, unless the Architect was allies with him

Now that would be completely messed up and interesting if that were the case.
I've been giving the Architect some thought, and assuming he is indeed an ancient magister like Corypheus, then i think theres two options for why he appears to not know this.
1. Most likely, he simply forgot over the many years he likely spent in the Deep Roads, similar to Shale.
2. He's deliberately hiding this information, which would make him even more sneaky and dangerous .
Seeing as Corypheus is going to have a heavy role in Inquisition, an appearance from the Architect would be really cool. If he has simply forgotten about the old days then i'd be fascinated to see how he'd react when he learns of Corypheus .
I like to think That the Elder One showed the Architect how to free darkspawn from the call of the Old Gods and his dreams told him to try it on a Archdemon knowing full well it was cause the Blight.

I'm still on boat saying the Architect is an ancient magister myself
what we know of the forbidden Ones is they are stronger forms of demons, with different capabilities and hunger than regular old demons.
Gaxkang had been a Abomination for hundreds of years. but how did that one body stay young if he was alive for such a time that 2 different adventures had long since turned to dust. and the other went raving mad. and he purposely lets people find him "I encourage fools to waste their lives in fantasy. Those adequate for my purpose find the gems, and then i find them. therefor we can infer that he has been doing this for sometime, so i believe he takes the body of the people that find him and uses them as his host.
We also know he can turn into two forms of demons which no other encountered abomination can do that.
Xebenkeck is a tad less fleshed out. but we can also assume she has been around for a while since her tome is in a old dwarven structure
Imshael is an interesting creature, because he is the most of the four we have heard dialogue from. He is incredibly persistent that he is a Spirit, not a demon, even though he Killed the entire dalish clan, Attempted to kill Michel, and peacefully by choice left The Keeper's First,(I can't remember her name for the life of me.)
the two aspects i find most interesting is the fact while possessed, Imshael didn't turn her into a abomination. and that he is so aggressive when correcting someone that he is not a demon, but a Spirit of Choice.
Now Flemeth.
Been alive since the tower age.
Takes host to stay young.
Can transform her form,
Is not a spirit or a demon,
Human Flemeth summoned a Spirit to help her take vengeance but it instead possessed her.
Yes i quite believe Flemeth is the Formless One, as cool as it would be for Flemeth to be Andraste, i think she hold the Formless One in her, one of the most ancient and powerful Spirit/Demons in her, the Spirit who supposedly taught blood magic.
Now let me jump into a quick theory.
we know Flemeth was a powerful mage to hide her magic all her life, and while possessed kill Conbar and every one of his soldiers.
We know Felassan knew who Imshael was and had spoken to him prior to this, and if my memory hasn't failed me he recognized the ritual used to summon Imshael.
I think Flemeth was a dreamer and had spoken to the Formless one.
But here comes a theory.
this has ending spoilers for The Masked Empire novel.
Spoiler
Felassan was killed or possessed at the end of the book by something within the fade, but the ending dialogue is interesting. the entity that kills him asks for the eluvian pass phrase.
He knew who the Forbidden Ones are, recognized the ritual used to summon Imshael. knew this entity wanted the phrase for the Eluvians, and he purposely told Briala not to tell him.
Now who do we know lost something to the Eluvians? who do we know who is a seer? who do we know knows forbidden magic such as those rituals.
I think flemeth killed him because she is chasing Morrigan,
Wow another great theory! Makes perfect sense too!! Thanks for these theories! Keeps my mind off of how long we have to go until nov 18th!
I think i noticed corypheus in one of those sneak peak gifs that were released. If you have a clear picture of him though, then a PM would be nice
Spoiler
there was a thread about achievments which went to speculations everywhere and they killed it... so it seems that either achievments went out too soon or some of those speculations wasn`t so wild at all... but yes he was there and I guess he has a play in Exalted March which was supposed to be a final DLC for DA2, but they decided to modify it and use it later, it would also explain big presence of Hawke in trailers...
I know it`s just a speculations for everyone, but if it`s going to be like I said, than we might just witness Hawke`s true ending...
someone said this in another thread so i had to see for myself.
While they are closing the door at 30 second mark, only for a millisecond you see a figure walking towards you, with very large shoulders extremities. and i think we know exactly who that is.
