And so began the Book Age. Where books were stabbed in a violent manner for the next hundreds years.

I'm not sure if the Elder One is the dragon or the multi-eyed creature from "Enemy of Thedas" trailer. He could be a shapeshifter, as I assumed the humanoid shape with red eyes from "Hero of Thedas" trailer.

Here is a question for the thread. Who taught shapeshifting?
We only know of Flemeth who knows the art and can teach it(Which she may or may not have learned from the forbidden one who supposedly gave the secret of blood to the first magus)
Where does the art of shapeshifting come?
We met a demon during the harrowing who could shapeshift. so is it from the fade?
Morrigan said if you spent enough time with the animal you could mimic it.
It's a curious school of magic.

That is a good question!
Would magisters of old know shapeshifting? does anyone besides a few hedge mages or witch of the wilds know it?
its curious.

Shapeshifting does not seem like a power that magisters would deign to know. After all, it requires understanding of a different living being, and that does not seem like a thing a magister would even care about.
It seems to me like it's a power that fits well with the gods of the Dalish pantheon. But then, I think Flemeth is a creator.

So if Flemeth is Fen'Harel, then The Elder One is a completely different entity. Since we have seen Flemeth actively trying to help stop a lot of things from happening, or at the very least making sure they don't get worse.

I'm very curious about our interactions with the fade. since we have been one of the only people in thedas history who physically entered the fade.
Beside Cory i can't think of any other character who did the same, and he is a darkspawn so we really have no idea how the fade effects a physical body.

Oh i doubt it's anything like that. there was a theory that we have a spirit connected to us like wynne, but i doubt we are justice or something.

Thats a relief I really would feel less attached to my character if I eventually found out I was sharing the experience with a spirit.
Do you think the world will properly respond to you being the first/second person to physically enter the Fade? Maybe scholar come by asking to study you? O,o unlock the secrets of why you lived when everyone else was sent to the Maker.

What it seems like to me is you were in the heart of the explosion that opened up the breach so while everyone else burned into those weird ash like corpses you were thrown into the fade, and Andraste's spirit(Or who ever it is. it's quite up for debate) opens up a tear for you to go back into thedas with, but not before giving you the mark on your hand.
