Well Hawke is good at killing things.

Not this thing.

Meh. I don't blame Hawke for this one. Cory's seals were weakening anyways, so it was already doomed to happen.

I blame Hawke. He just let Corypheus walk away. Had he just killed one more Warden, nearly all of DAI would have been avoided.

There wouldn't be a Breach and the peace summit may have actually served its purpose. All we would have would be the Orlesian Civil War.

You guys are going to let Hawke have another go? Are you going to at least help?!

(please say yes)

Oh God no. I'll let him help me a little, but I will be the one to give the final blow this time to Corypheus....also, note to self, don't bring Blackwall to the final battle.

How the hell was he supposed to know Cory could body hop? Hawke wouldn't have been privy to that knowledge.

Er I see no reason to blame Hawke for that considering that he/she had no idea that he possessed the grey warden that you sided with.

If it's any consolation, I blame him for just about everything else lol.

But yeah Quizzy's gonna make sure Cory's dead.

Well, he know Corypheus affected Wardens. He should have noticed something was strange when the ghoul Warden Commander just up and decided "Silly, this Calling is. Leave this prison, I will. My gratitude you have, for my freedom."

I doubt Corypheus is the final boss. I mean, anyone who played the DLC would recognize that form and would Bioware be that unsubtle about its villain?

"Yes, Cailan. A glorious day for us all."

You know what, never mind.

So, let me guess, Corypheus is at the Warden stronghold where he can just hop to any of the hundreds of Wardens nearby.

Oh yeah, I don't blame Hawke, but he sure as hell won't be making the final blow. That's Lugh's job!

*Blackwall coughs

*Hawke immediately lights him on fire

Link?

Well there is still the hope that he is controlled by someone else.

and i think its fleeting

Not necessarily ^_^

I've had this idea for awhile but haven't had time to post or anything but what if:

We don't actually fight the Elder One, but only seal the Breach thereby preventing the Elder One from entering our world.  Bear with me this is kind of long.

The Elder One is a resident of the fade and therefore needs an agent in this world.  Cory is that agent.  Because of this it is Cory that we fight in this world and we don't actually fight the Elder One but merely seal him within the fade when we seal the breach.  This would be really cool if done correctly.  Bioware could introduce a new villian, that has been trying to take over Thedas for ages upon ages.  Since the ancient elves, maybe it was the elves that imprisoned him the first time and that is why he reached out to the humans to destroy them (read Dumat).  Once they were destroyed he turned to finding a way through.  Getting the ancient magisters to open a portal into the fade by tempting them with power was his first attempt to break his prison.  It didn't work or maybe didn't work completely.  Maybe there was a defense the elves but on the prison that triggered when the humans opened a portal.  Or the ritual was not complete.  Think of it like an experiment on the Elder One's part.  Now ages later he is ready to try again, since one of his initial disciples is free again.  Remember time moves differently in the Fade so the Elder One has time to wait.

Or you know Elder One could refer to the fact that Cory is one of the Ancient Magisters.  Ancient = Elder, Individual = One.

I'm hoping Bioware doesn't go that obvious, but they might

I would like to see this portion of your idea come into play. It's actually what I hope is gonna happen.

Thanks!! :D

I to really want this to come into play.  The rest is just speculation on why there needed to be the Breach and stuff.  It was my attempt to merge a lot of 1) fan theories I've seen and 2) some of the lore I know.

I really want to delve more into the ancient elves and tevinter.  That is an area of history in Thedas we know so little about.  I want to know MORE!!

And Monkey...I think I can speak for quiet a few people.  We all would

I love all these theories , and that is why I ask to you , what would it be (if there ) the role of our Warden in this whole mess?
