I doubt that Corypheus is The Elder One but i do hope that he plays a big role.

Wasn't the idea that The Elder One is exactly what it says on the tin i.e the very first demon? That's my theory anyway.

I dont know who the elder one is. Im just hoping Corypheus is a red herring. Dont get me wrong, i love Corypheus hes my favorite character not named Dumat. However, turning him into an apocalyptic world altering entity when he was slain all too easily by Hawke, who is the biggest screw up in gaming history just doesnt sit right with me.

Well the name just sort of suggests it, Could be anything old though really but I doubt "The Elder One" is Corypheus. I like to think it might be a being that existed before the maker.

Given that Corypheus, elder one or not, is going to have a large role in the game, I can't wait to see what our companions think about him. I found it really odd how Anders tried to deny what was right infront of him in Legacy, and most of the DA2 companions didn't have much commentary to what was a jawdropping revelation to me  .

Still convinced that Cory is another pawn. He can think he is in control but all the while he is being played like a fiddle.

The identity of the Elder One is suppose to be a mystery. And I doubt they would have him on display with Cory on the Art book. So I think Cory is just another pawn being used by The Elder One.
