Bingo! The Achievement gave me chills when I first read it.

we know we have to deal with the wardens, he probably ties into that.

He is only lame if you look at him alone. However his name "Corypheus" and his achievement card "The Conductor"(the literal translation of corypheus) signifies something much larger in scope. The ConductorThe Architect See where this is headed? Though this has nothhing to do with the Elder One. What these two Darkspawn represents is terrifying in and of its own.

im glad somebody knows that too :) and this also bodes ill but the architect can ally with the wardens and shows no intent on rule... hmmm

Edit: and btw what are you talking about with the fourth blight? i know nothing of legends or rumors of the wardens being controlled by an unseen entity?

It's dealing with the new book, The Last Flight. Supposedly there was a force manipulating the Wardens of old, and is possibly controlling the Wardens right now.

I read the pages in amazon and the little summary and i dont see anything about a magical force, only of a dark secret.

See thats what i mean, he is a great villian, but lame god like creature. and if we want to assume the theory that the architect is actually a magister, we are probably going to get a wonderful lore filled fourth game, i just doubt we are going to see much about tevinter in this game. i think its going to be more elven lore since the inquisition is so centralized around the land once home to Elvhenan.

There is that. Then there is also the theory that "The Elder One" is an ancient Arlathan Elf awoken from Uthenera. But yes, overall I think DA:I is gonna dwelve much more into detail with ancient lore of the Elves, but also of the humans concurrent to these Elves.

I got to page 78, cause I'm a member, and I could see the signs that there is something manipulating the Wardens right now. Could be Corypheus, which is kinda what I'm guessing.

But here me and monkey spoke about this in length, in the trailer of EoT we see an elf with dalish tattoos, i personally say its Felassan because of what we know the dalish started putting tattoos on themself to remember their past, so the ancient elves wouldn't do that. but that elf might about be that ancient dreamer.

Edit: i didn't explain that well, what i was trying to say is its because its a elf with dalish tattoo who is an obviously powerful mage wearing a brown hood that felassan was described wearing and we know at the end of TME Something in the fade, kills or posses him so personally i think fen'harel took control of him. so thats what i have to say about that. XD

It also means that if you kill the Architect he probably isn't dead, because there is ALWAYS one blighted creature that survives... Velanna's sister.

Of course he did. Though he may not ahve done so conciously. If we presume he is telling the truth, and he doesn't know why he is the way he is, then he may have amnesia (maybe caused after one too many body hops), and simply forgotten what he is. Or he may simply be lying to our faces, and in that case he certainly made the swap. It would also make Velanna spotting her sister in the Deep Roads years later, much more disturbing.

So if he did. that could confirm any darkspawn with a soul could possibly body swap... so would a warden be able to?

So, we have two top rank bodyhopping darkspawn magisters running loose around Thedas in borrowed bodies. Well ****.

No, those two are special. They were the original magisters who went into the Black City, so they have powers unique to them. Only they and an Old God can body hop, and only into those who are Tainted.

But we dont know only they can body hop, corypheus was able to enter a body that was filled with a soul already, which a archdemon cannot, so we dont know what the body swap rules are completely. and the architect might just be a smart emissary(though i think he is a magister). so again we dont know the rules

Actually, it will be interresting to see wether or not that whole body swapping thing is an ancient lost art, either from Arlathan or Tevinter, or if it truly is something unique to the Blight. I am leaning towards the latter, but the former would make for an interresting plot device (though I dread the idea of the villain you killed appearing in later games and going "HA! You didn't expect me to do the old body swap did you?").

Not the first time. But the second and the third? I mean, it quickly got REALLY old in the Star Wars EU..

I would prefer the latter at this point. Though, it's gonna make Cory and the Architect hard to kill if they surround themselves with Wardens or darkspawn.
