I was making a inquisition joke XD

I know. I just wanted to make a stab at that part of the Star Wars EU (which thankfully aren't canon anymore).

It would be interesting if the Architect survived as well

but it will certainly be controversial since people will claim (yet again) that Bioware doesn't respect the choices of players etc.

I wouldn't mind it the possibility of a interaction between Corypheus and the Architect is just too exciting

Well... People are stupid... But seriously, there are lots of ways BioWare can "respect" the choice of people who chose to fight the Architect. For instance, he could be entirely hostile towards the player in future games, or you could lose out on the possibility of negotiating with him. The possibilities are endless. Death doesn't have to be final in fiction after all.

Yeah, I just wonder what his endgame is.

Well, I still stand by my little idea.

And so is the Golden City blackened

With each step you take in my Hall.

Marvel at perfection, for it is fleeting.

You have brought Sin to Heaven

And doom upon all the world.

-Threnodies 8:13

I would prefer the latter at this point. Though, it's gonna make Cory and the Architect hard to kill if they surround themselves with Wardens or darkspawn.

If Corypheus has the same power as an Archdemon, why doesn't the Warden he hops into explode upon receiving his soul?

I dont think they are going to relate everything in their games. would make it hard to add things on later on.

My calculations tell me the next game will focus on the Qunari invasion and Tevinter. And my hopes tell me the one after that may be Dragon Age: Discoveries.

So I don't think they will have a problem.

Correction, I meant similar, not exactly the same.

Well, if they are related, which I suspect they MAY be, it will be because the Golden City was actually the prison Eleni Zinovia refered to. Though that would mean the prison was breached AGAIN in the Dragon Age somehow, which I doubt. Much more likely the prison is wherever the Eluvians lead to, and Morrigan reopening an Eluvian somehow breached this prison.

Are you speaking of the inbetween world? And if it is a prison, what the hell is locked in there? Apparently it must have been something extremely terrifying if even the ancient elves shut off the network with no warning.

Personally i hope they give us a game in between that, something lore heavy, then send us to something completely new like the qunari. like maybe Anderfall and Kal'sharok, then Rivain or something.

COUGH COUGH Arlathan COUGH!

I wonder. If the elves could create a Narnia styled crossroad world, could they create an actual Narnia?

I'd guess the Elder One. I don't think the Arlathan Elves was a fan of him either.

Arlathan was not locked away in a world between worlds though. It was literally burried under megatons of rock and stone.

It's also possible the prison may have locked by accident when Arlathan fell. Or the Elder One locked himself in there to make sure he didn't end up like pretty much all of Arlathan's aristocracy.

And we have concept art in the plain world so i doubt we will be going into the golden city this game.

The thing is that we know, or rather are told, that the Arlathan Elves shut off the Eluvian network suddenly and without warning BEFORE their fall.

That happened like two thousand years ago. What is said to have happened may be completely different from what actually happened. There is no trace left of Arlathan anywhere, not even in the Deep Roads (and this was before the First Blight). It could just as well been thrown into the Fade or another world.

I don't think it was an accident though. They seemed pretty willing to lock away the network, to possibly trap or imprison something in there.
