Or how about basic physics? like i can forgive the anime about ninja or maybe like super vampire things, but when you talk about like space anime. that is seems some how in all of them physics just disappear when they start floating in a vacuum. again just AnimeLogic.

 

and ill even admit i like a few animes, Code Geass, Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul. but damn, where were the writer for DA series when dawn of the seeker was being made. or did EA just not care?

I doubt they are care, i mean its sad when you think about the old original gundam having more in line with physics then stuff four decades later...

 

I mean, they were running off fission and fusion nuclear power for the most part, and their vehicles, and mobile suits acted like it, crud, the original Zaku mark 1 reactors were basically a nuclear bomb when it breached.

 

Their energy weaponry?

 

It worked off of plasmatic fusion which is basically you have plasma that is rapidly converted into a gas, and the super heated pressure that results from that process is used to power a batter that produces a beam of particles that are made up of metal fragments (cutting edge **** back when it came out and something that has actually been considered by real life militaries)

You know, I just don't get the impression the Elder One is an all powerful ancient Lovecraftian horror. The way the writers talk about him make him sound distinctly... human. As does Felassan's way of addressing him, if that is indeed the Elder One he is talking to.

 

And frankly, the Enemy of Thedas trailer just sounds incredibly cheesy if the guy making all those over the top statements is actually a sort of literal god of chaos. It's the difference between "that's a human being and he can actually do THAT?! WOW!" and "he can actually do that and still acts like a human being? Wow...".

While I don't think that concept art is Arlathan itself, the architecture and placement is nice indicator of what Arlathen may have looked like. Basically, in a middle of a lake or sea on top of a giant hole. If that were the case then it wouldn't be too farfetched that it was sunken deep beneath the earth.

On the subject of Eluvians: after conquering the Elves, didn't ancient magisters use the Eluvians as a form of long distance communication? Obviously, they didn't know all of its uses.

But during the movie. the knight divine made this conspiracy BECAUSE of the kirkwall incident but in the actual linear history she becomes hero of Orlas and then couple of years before named hand of the divine. but this was all before the incident at kirkwall, so you see the the movie dawn of the seekers, literally takes place in its own made up time period.

Some animes still believe in logic and physics. same with some games, but damn, do some animes and games (normally the Japanese kind) throw physics out the door and make up what there people can do and make up what the human body can handle under constant G force.

During the closing days of the one year a massive earth federation fleet makes its way from the captured Zeonic Factory/Fortress of Solomen to the outskirts of the colonies of Side 3 The Zeonic Homeland, the Principalities Door Step.

 

Defending the heartland of the Principality? Supreme Commander Gihren Zabi, head of the Zeonic Military and acting head of state, using the solar array he obliterates nearly half of the Earth Federation's Forces along with his own father and some of his own forces, when they were meeting in secret with Admrial Revil of the Federation to discuss peace, and a ending of the war.

 

However the Federation still had a fleet of more then 70 warships, and almost 1200 mass production GM model mobiles, and several hundred ball fighter units and special units such as the Gundam, White Base and etc.

 

To face them? A collection of the various remnants of the Zeonic Mobile suit corps, remnants from their earth invasion force and the Zeonic Navy.

 

Together that was a force of roughly 800 various mobile suits including the newer model Gelgoog, the best Zeonic Mass production unit of the war, however the war had been costly to Zeon and it lacked many of the skilled veterans it had early in the war, along with that force of mobile suits, it also had a fleet of around thirty or so various warships, including four brand new Dolos Class Super Carriers.

The Forces of the Federaiton clashed with Zeon one final time upon the eve of Christmas, a new year, and for more then twelve hours, the two forces bled each other, However Gihren Zabi had prepared for the invasion and set up defensive lines across the perimeter of the factory creating killzones that negated the Federation's numeric advantage, allowing the heavier warships to engage their federation counterparts and inflict heavy losses to them, but at this time Kycilia Zabi, Gihren sister and the head of the "special" attack force, arrived and met with her brother.

 

After declaring him a traitor to Zeon, and for the murder of their father, she executed the leader of Zeon, in the command center of A Boa Qu, and while the Zeonic world came crashing down, She assumed command of the fortress, but the damage was done, Gihren had been managing the defensive lines personally, overseeing the entire battlefield, himself, she lacked his genius level military skill and the defensive formation began to collapse, shortly after this Vice Adrmial Delaz, a Zeonic Patriot and a loyal follower of Gihren learned of his death and the collapsing lines around side three, he knew the battle was over, so he recalled his entire fleet and pulled back and retreated.

 

This left Zeon further exposed and then the defensive lines began to crumble one by one, The first of the Dolos Super Carriers was sunk around this time.

 

Kycilia then realized that Zeon, the Principality was doomed, she fled, although she wouldn't survive the battle either, but with no clear line of command, chaos reigned in the ranks as entire divisions of mobile suits broke from formation to defend the factory fortress as Federation forces breached the outer lines and invaded the fortress it self.

 

This allowed yet even more Federal forces into the battlefield, The second and third Dolos carrier were sunk around this time, the final Dolos was sunk shortly after 11:00 Pm December 31st 0079 and with it the Zeonic military around the factory were left runderless, they had no berth to retreat for A Boa Qu it self was under assault, this left the remaining defenders who were running low on fuel and ammunition no place for restock, and then at roughly January first of 0080 the Zeonic forces formally surrendered.

 

This wasn't the end of the war officially, but Zeon was broken.

 

Their Leader, their forces, they were obliterated, the Zeonic dream for spacenoid freedom died.

Thats one the best things about gundam its generally scientifically solid with great political tones that make you think of imperialism and colonialism *inhales and exhales with glee* memories 8 years and having a full grasp of both subjects.
