"Ah yes, Fen'Harel, the mystical elvish trickster god who bound their pantheon. We have dismissed these claims."

Well there were rumors of a leaked survey that said the big bad is using this war to distract others so that he can gain god like powers. I have have no proof, so don't take it seriously.
However, I do believe that the Elder One (while still imprisoned) is manipulating the leader of the Venetori. Who knows, maybe that voice over we hear is the leader.
Based on one of the screenshots the venatori has infiltraltrated Nevarre and are advisors to the king and its up to us which course of action to make. So its clear venatori is manipulating others. Red Templars seem to be a non factor due to thier insanity.
Anybody think that weird multieye spider is the Elder One?

Some part of me doubt the spider is the Elder One and I doubt the Dragon we have seen is the Elder One, I guess the dragon is a servant of the Elder one which he can speak through.

Lovecraftian horror are godlike
I don't think the Elder One is a properly Lovecraftian horror.
He talks too much.

True...Lovecratian creatures show it Instead of talk about it... Then again Yogg'Saron was a talker if I recall.

You know as i sit here sipping coffee and writing up the next chapter of fanfiction i can't help but wonder who does the Elder One command?
What does he have dominion over?
The Ventaori? Some other organization?
if he is the big bad behind the agents of chaos he must have a group.
Especially if he has been locked away in the fade for a while or something akin to that, he must have underlings that he can give objectives to.
So many unanswered questions.

I think the Venatori is probably his main group of minions. That being said, I think he has agents in a lot of the major camps, like the Red Templars, the Grey Wardens, and perhaps even among the rebel Circle mages.

Personally I think besides the venatori i think he just talks and pushes people in their dreams, convince them its their own thoughts but its just his hand pushing them to war.

I suppose we won't get any answers on this subject until DAI releases.

Well, Yogg-Saron is more of a Warcraftian beast, and a mouth monster as well.
It's different.

you know we have been discussing all these theories, and all these things we think might be in the writing of the new game because of all the great characters, plots, and ideals that created this fandom XD. isn't that just amazing?
