at best i understand is that morrigan is "more human" as cameron lee says. If you romance her and have the kid. At worst no mention at all caise its a limiting element. I did both with her and went through the eluvian so i generally understand the issue. There has to be something there. There is no way they can leave the child out of the story. I guess we will have to wait and see what springs up in the Keep Scenarios to really get an idea.

There can absolutely be no mention of the kid, they could be easily saving that for another game or a side quest where you help her get something she needs to run if she needs to. i doubt we are really going to have any mention of the kid, and even if they do they might just be saving it for a more flemeth central game. since i think morrigan is the one character who we are going to see be a repeated ally to who ever our hero is.

I'm pretty sure I once heard that David Gaider once said that the child would have more then a passing line in DA:I.

Wouldn't it be neat if the Elder One commanded a group of baddies, like the Ringwraiths from Lord Of The Rings? Scarey black steeds, capes all the horrifying stuff!

There is the hooded elf who may or may not be connected to the elder one.

And speaking of hooded and hidden enemies i wonder how the explosion went off at the summit, was it kind of like a more magical and fade oriented bomb more so than anders or did ripping the veil cause the explosion. because if its the former i would love to learn that the venatori sneaked into the summit with the mage's to blow it up.

What we know thus far about the Elder One.
1) It may be behind the Breach
2) The Venatori serve/revere it
3) It is dismissive of the Maker
4) It seeks to rule over all of Thedas as it's one and only god
5) It is relentless, ambitious and beyond arrogant. He already considers himself a deity and operates on a scale no being can comprehend in his opinion.
6) It thrives upon chaos and anarchy.
7) It is patient and cunning, having waited undoubtedly ages in order for it's plan to come to fruition.
Feel free to add and alter.

That more of a theory than it is what we know. because that has never been mentioned in any dragon age canon work

Also i've been thinking about this more and more. but why would flemeth care if the Blight is stopped in ferelden or Orlais? I really think she is trying to get the warden to stop Loghain and the blight so the land wont be as weak when the elder one comes.

She has put two hero's on a path that is meant to create order or at least attempt. and flemeth has been known to help the found of ferelden and rebellion. and she does say to hawke "We stand upon the precipice of change. The world fears the inevitable plummet into the abyss. Watch for that moment... and when it comes, do not hesitate to leap. It is only when you fall that you learn whether you can fly." i really doubt this is just about kirkwall. and since we know hawke shows up in DA:I her/his story and fate isn't over.
