Im not saying its yin yang, im just really curious why flemeth put you on both these paths, one to stabilize a country. and the other to try to halt the chaos.

Hawke didn't halt the chaos much, he actually caused indirectly cause the mage templar war by helping finding the red lyrium, but he did stop the Arishock although I'm pretty sure he would been stopped anyway although it would have taken longer.

But imagine if he wasn't there. chaos was coming. it just wasn't as bloody with hawke there. and i didn't say he stopped the chaos but he more of just made it less as crazy.

The red lyrium wouldn't have been found (most likely) and driven Meredith crazy which in turn wouldn't have causes Thrask to try and rebel against her.

 

The most important things Hawke did was bringing Felmeth to Kirkwall and stopping Arishock everything else is debatable at best

Yeah i think we might get like a half an hour prologue or something so we can get to know our character and the world we are in, then BOOM into the fire we go.
