My guess is as some said either a Spirit of hope or something like that, something entirely different or possibly Flemeth.

It could also be Justina transformed into a Spirit of Hope.

Than why can dwarves not use blood magic? or why cant dwarven ghouls use magic? if emissary get their magic from blood and taint, shouldn't in theory a ghoul be able to as well?

Edit: i will correct myself since we do see Genlock Emissary which original ancestors were tainted Dwarves. i will concede my argument for i believe my opinion is slightly changing.

Why don't you ask why not all humans have magic? They're all connected to the fade, so why can't they all do magic?

one theory is its a recessive gene that dwaves have either adaptively evolved or totallyy lacked. In humans and elves it nature :)

Well they lived underground and if that primeval tiag proved anything they have been so for thousands of years. Considering Lyrium is poisonous they developed immunity to that.

probably explains their resistance to lyrium but magic is another ball game. Im no genesist but

They all have the possibility of using magic with lyrium. just not like those truly connected to the fade. just like dreamers who are even more connected to the fade are more powerful than regular mage's. its a pecking order.

Well it must be more then evolution since they aren't even connect to the fade no matter how much lyrium take

perhaps the primeval dwarves were a root evolute(precusser in the sense of genetics) that could do "magic" due to red lyrium but something goes ary dwwarves migrate to the 1st blight era locations. Thus starting their evolution into current era dwarves. The lack of radiation from RL caused them to lose whatever connection to the fade they had and in turn developed a resistance to magic.
Mind you this is pure speculation filled with a rough understanding of genetics and adaptive evolution

Well it must be much older than the first blight because by then. the dwarven empire was praising paragons. but there weren't any statues or symbols to any paragons.

Well the first contact between the elves and the dwarves was in -4600 ancient but i don't know if they were worshiping paragons that long ago.

Edit: and tevinter imperum wasn't founded until -1000ish ancient. so thats 3000 years before humans started to really trade with them. and since the shaperate recorded that we know they were worshiping Paragons by then.

He's a super old ancient elf who has gone senile and keeps thinking he left his glasses in the fade so he makes rips to walk through and get them.

There certainly seems to be a duality.  The EO and his "agents of chaos" (really now?) And the Inquisition bringing order to a chaotic realm. So greed lady spirit of hope/order. EO spirit of despair/chaos?

Ok in another thread someone posted a link to the da:I website. but what they were talking about i didn't care about what i did find very interesting was this snippit

"So, you want to be a dwarven mage? Dagna would be proud. However, dwarves do not dream, and do not enter the Fade naturally as humans and elves do. Thus, dwarves lack a connection to the Fade, and the ability to possess magic."

Pretty much confirming that Dwarves cant use magic because they are not connected to the fade. so doesn't that mean everything that uses magic has to be connected to the fade?

i was lurkingbin the same thread. Its coomon knowledge that dwarves dont dream as surface races. Now its just cleaned up and expicitly stated. The only explanations for this is pure law of thedas or my evolution theory

All im saying is. that must mean to use magic. you must be connected to the fade or use a substance connected to the fade like lyrium. which then explains why templars have magic like abilities or red templars turn into Abominations.

Now im curious if demons can travel with lyrium. like what if red lyrium is just like a veil tear in itself. not exactly like one. but how would you explain these abomination unless they are actually possessed by demons?

I mean the answer might be different once we play the game.
