most of the cast died.... so forced lol

it adds a sense of heroism to be the only competant one lol but from the trailers it seems that we are on even footing(aside from x hiccups)

Yeah but i like making a competent army. and i'm not saying it would be easy but they would be able to bring it down. Before the Dragon Age when they were reappearing the Orleasians and Nevarrans were able to kill or run them off from the inward country side. the whole reason it was called the Dragon Age is because they were fighting against them. and obviously they did a pretty good job fighting them off since for 40 years dragons haven't gone into the cities. (Except for the mind control ones.)

Dragon are powerful, yes. But lets not overestimate them too much. The pentaghasts are skilled dragon hunters.

Riordan probably used a dragon hunting tech to try to kill the Archdemon. The high dragon of a dragon cult was killed with a small (?) army.

Are you talking about the cult in kirkwall before DA2?

Yeah it was a cult in the free marches worshiping a High Dragon that was supposedly the Daughter of Urthermial.

Of course they aren't invulnerable, but they're powerful enough to make things a lot easier for us if they're on our side and the enemy doesn't have similar advantages.

The elder one is soo pwerful BW needs to cross over with "how to train your dragon"lol.... though it would be nice to have a crippling injury for the final battle

Well, I know the Archdemon would have been so much easier to kill if I had another Dragon to fight him with.

I wonder in order to unlock the reaver skill tree you'll need to encounter that dragon and decide wether on not to kill it for blood or keep it as a pet? Surely, you don't need to kill it to get its blood?

Speaking of which its interesting (probably old news) that reavers is similar to blood magic in that more pain+blood = more power. Is such an ability available to dragons as well?

I just stocked the hell up on health and mana potions and hoped that the game wouldn't crash too many times.

And it was only about four times, so I think I got through with it. That was a problem I had in a lot of bossfights. Halfway through and the game just crashed a lot of the time.

dtagon blood is a whole can of worms that do alot of things. Then we discuss it we border on magical ethics then MT maddeness and our group gets wierd.... like kissing your best friend lol (joke laugh my friends laugh).

But if we were to discuss reaver origins. Its popular fact that inbibing of draconian blood grants reaver powers(nonmage equalvelent to BM) now imagim a mage did this ritual what would happen would they just be a reaving mage or would they gain an enchamced lifespan of x years. Ill need a few minutes to make a proper theory. Thanks mya always giving me ideas :)

PC.

I think it had to do with a combination of certain spell effects and stuff. I had to fight certain battles pretty much blind because of it. And by that I mean I had to angle the camera away from the fight and keep my mage far, far away from anything that was happening.

The Harvester crashed me so many times that I turned on godmode just to get by. It was a hard enough fight without that bullshit.

We need new info to keep the Theory train rolling.  Something on the Venatori, Red Lyrium or something...

well we limited ourselves to stay OT. We could discuss red lyrium's possible effects on mages. I also have ideas on what reaver powers mixed with mages can create

OK if morrigan turns into a dragon i need hawke to say "Why does everyone get to turn into a dragon but me?" I would be able to die happy. :D

Also i would assume it would have monstrous effects if consumed. We have kinda all talked about red lyrium having a song and it kinda be demon related. (Behemoth = abomination) So maybe it would activate even faster.

I also suspect we will see a sect of Mage's trying to "fight fire with fire"

or more likely fight fire with lightning. Any other theories border on MT areas.... can we lightly go into it or is it too risky

Oh i think when we talk in this forum we are mostly unbiased.

We aren't talking who is right so much as what is causing things during the war.
