Yeah, I think the EO and Venatori just wants to have as much chaos distracting the nation as much as possible. The giant hole in the sky with demons pouring out will only serve as added distraction. As it stands people are still focusing on thier own issues.

When I think of it the inquisition vs Venatori share a type of duality. The inquisition brings order and can close the breach while Venatori are the opposite.

Well id hope either liam neeson (his films are my ****), then id hope for bendict cumberbatch just cause he was awsome in sherlock and as smaug in the hobbit, lastly im thinking kevin spacey cause he's often type casted as a man in power.

I'm not so sure all of the Venatori are with the EO by choice or because they share similar goals.

Indeed, the Elder one seemed to have him by the balls or something like that and I wonder how many of the Venatori actually knows about Elder one or they are simply following their leaders orders.

I'm guessing that his son is sick and The Elder One keeps him alive so long as he follows through with The Elder One's wishes.

Maybe he hasn't fully crossed over into our world yet and still needs some servants until then.

Yeah we really don't know where they are at that point. we see in games pictures of redcliffe castle sitting peacefully across the lake. but now in the demo we see it in the fade or something like it at least.

I wonder if he had a hand at orchestrating that explosion at the meeting; hence his regret. Or maybe he regrets doing that to redcliff?

As for that amulet didn't Dorian say he needs it to cast a spell to reopen (or was is close) the rift?

We know that rift magic is available to us, but is it a type of school taught? Or is it only available to the inquisitor due to his hand?

solas knows some and we can learn it. Its a hedge school of magic normally not learned but instictivly known, but rift magic is new so i may just be guessing

Rift is a school of magic of pulling magic from the fade. the Veil is what is in between Thedas and the Fade.
