I know you couldn't see the stream, but so the start menu was of templars and Mage's marching to the summit, and then when you press start, the summit explodes and you go right into character creation in a thing of smoke.

 

Then as we see of this video you turn around and see ms.spirit lady right there.

 

So it seems we might start the game right from the fade.

Physcically in the fade.... only been done once and the spawn were created... guys theorize what this means my brains is firing off and cant pin down a coherant theory atm

Well we know we physically enter it. we've been told this. 

 

But starting directly in the fade might bring a whole new meaning to "You are a mistake" we could be something like justice, or even Cole.

We could be a ghost, as souls do apparently pass through the Fade at death, but somehow granted the ability to return due to all of the weird Fade **** going on.

 

Someone else will end up squatting in our corpse while we do this. Like the Elder One.

 

The Elder One will be possessing our physical remains, while we discover we were dead all along.

 

This is why we're a mistake.

It just happens to be Andraste is hanging out in the fade and she becomes our spirit like Wynne, thats might be why we are called "The herald of andraste"

We are a mistake because we are still alive. and the only reason we are alive is because of a spirit healing us like what happened to Wynne,

we don't know if its Andraste in the fade. but we are her Herald, so how did we get that name? So thats where my thinking is right now, we are a mistake because we should have never have lived through such an explosion that killed every one else. I mean do we have any other idea why We are the only one alive? i mean how is it we are the only one in the fade? and how did we even get back? 

 

Thats why i think we are going to be connected to that spirit, and she is going to give us life again.
