I like the theory that the Fear, along with Nightmare, demon created that Dopleganger of the Inquisitor. If you look closely at that scene it looks like there's blood gushing out that door behind the inquisitor.

I thought it was rain on a red door. looking at it now, its definitely a red liquid. ok, that's probably a dream or something.

My guess was the Doppelganger was the Evil half of the Inquisitor that serves as the Elder One's Dragon.

I really hope they don't follow that trope. that clone in ME was annoying enough. i really don't want to see that again. especially in a dramatic game while the citadel DLC was mostly fan-bating and comedy, i will admit my love for garrus and jack was never stronger but my opinion doesn't change.

Sorry Clone stories bore me. i hope its just a nightmare a dreamer or Elder One make us go through.

Exactly, and I actually really enjoyed the clone wars and just watched through the entire cartoon tv series which was surprising violent for a Kids show.

But those stories are so annoying when a real person is trying to take his life back from a clone. ugh it just gets old sooooooo fast.

rebels looks a wee bit too childish for me. a show that's beyond its age group is Legend of Korra and i'm totes excited for that final season.

I just really hope we don't have to chase a clone around. Like i barely even like the times in games where you gotta fight NegaPC like in Shivering Isles and Legend of Zelda.

I can't remember in any demo's where lyrium is destroyed but i remember in DA2 the Lyrium sword exploded when it like over charged Meredith so maybe red lyrium gives power to Demons.

Well we don't really know what Red Lyrium is. and thats how one of the dev's (i cant remember if it was David or Mike.) remember our talk that the Behemoth seems like an abomination. and since red lyrium doesn't seem to appear any times of thin veil or veil tears in DA:O or DA:2 but it obviously did appear in an ancient time in the Primeval Thaig which is deeper and older than the Deep roads so might be as older than tevinter. so during some point Dwarves before Tevinter showed up were able to craft lyrium into a idol which in turn made the Veil thin in that Thaig.

So maybe something is causing it.

Maybe red lyrium is only able to appear every (how ever long) and thats why the Elder One chose now to appear and open the breach because he is able to draw enough power from it to have the Breach swallow the world. and the red templars using it and planting it(or what ever they are doing to get more of it) are just giving more raw Red Lyrium for him to use to his advantage.

I'm kinda thinking the Red Templars are like Cerberus in ME3 where they were just trying to get stronger so they upgraded Themself with Reaper tech and unwittingly made it so the Reapers could control or suggest things to them. maybe the Elder One is doing the same to the Red Templars.

HOLD ON. What if the Elder One is just the one making the song that everyone hears in Red Lyrium. like he isn't the dragon, or the Elf, or the Doppelganger. he is this massive monstrosity locked away who ONLY can manipulate and NEEDS others to do his work, I.E the Venatori, the Demons and so forth.

Like maybe you aren't so much Fighting the Elder One as stopping him. Maybe that's what the spider is. Just an idea i'm throwing around in my head.

Interesting theory, has a very Dark Tower/ Crimson King feel to it.

But I'm sticking with Dumat, I will not be swayed until November 18th. :P

I am pretty curios why there are some many of these "Fade Apartments" we see throughout the Fade. They clearly arent the Black city since they are everywhere. Are they just simply imitation created by spirits/demons reacting to our thoughts and dreams? Or do spirits and demons live there?

It is a possibility...My guess is that the Magisters came to the already Black City and Dumat knew the Elder One Existed and wanted him free, perhaps as an ally. What the Magisters didn't know however and maybe even Dumat the means of which kept the Elder One imprisoned was the Taint. It was the security measure in which was to keep The Elder One trapped in the Black city. When the Magisters took the taint into themselves, The Elver One Escaped and went dormant regaining his strength and upon the Start of the Dragon Age he began his plotting. Of course this is all random guessing.

Its probably just a reflection of a city some demon lord pulled from someone in their dreams. we know our dreams shape the fade so yeah. it was probably just some Orlesian peasant and bam. something for a demon to copy.
