I plan on playing as a female elf mage. Given that she is Dalish, she will be pro elf. I was going to have her romance Sera but now learning that Solas is only able to romance female elves for story reasons, I wonder if the romance will play out better with Solas than Sera who may be more "worldly" and less pro elf. Hell, she might not really care much for elves at all.

Solas seems like his romance my play out better with a female elf mage. What are your thoughts.

I'm in the same boat as you. I think Solas will probably fit better but I may not be able to resist Sera's sass...

He's stayed away from society and has been pretty solo, I think. Whereas Sera cares about 'the little people'. But I think Solas would fit a dalish elf better. *shrugs* this is literally all speculation. I'm sure you'll be able to flirt with both of them a bit before deciding who to ultimately get with anyway. That's what I'll do at least.

Nope.

 

I would guess he's be more interested in the 'Dalish' idea of helping elves by preserving/rediscovering their history/lost magic.   Sera...definitely not.

 

Sera's thing is helping the poor/common folk which would include lots of elves (city elves).  I don't see her as championing the needs of these elves above others (poor humans) though.

 

Your Dalish might not care so much about city elves...depends on how you RP her.
