Alright, I'm running out of time due to RL stuff, but I think I got the Maggot Golem to a usable state:

Merrick's Dad did the reskin to the moving maggot mass

Shadowwing2029 provided a texture used for little maggots falling out of the main mass - you can see some in the pic - they make their biggest messes during an attack [looks decent].   All I did there was add an alpha channel, try to up the contrast, and then do what I could with emitter settings

From there, I messed around with the eye emitters and added some Bioware vps_bugs emitters (those black dots in the pic buzz all around the thing's head and shoulders),

 

The model does have stretchiness on the texture, as MD mentioned, and the maggot emitters don't totally match the main body as they're from different sources, but as I said, I think it's usable, and I'm at the limits of my skillset.   I'll make a portrait for this and send it in with the Blood Elemental before the end of the month,

 

I'll omit the other two variants (the sewer water elemental and the shadow thing) as they don't fit the theme as well, haven't garnered requests, and are pretty trivial to reproduce.   I'll credit my collaborators in the readme - thank you for your thoughts and help!

I've been offline for almost a week now (it feels like), so I am glad I didn't take on any certain projects. Also glad I didn't offer to help on too many others, like the drider lich. I was going to offer up my drider stuff from the Selvetarm/Zanassu model I am working on.

Just passed halfway through the month so I hope this suggestion isn't too late. It's actually for two versions of the same thing. Beds. Now I may have missed it but why are the beds NwN always so tidy and unused? So how about a reskin of a bed model to make it into a blood spattered piece of horror. Or for the more adventurous amongst the modelling community how about a totally dishevelled blood spattered bed.

 

Oh and to keep the spirits restlessly roaming (or up even) here is a pic I just saw on dA.

Has anyone ever tried to create a better mummie soundset. I mean something like a very creepy voice. Some hysterical but dark and deep muttering of absolutely hatred. The muttering cuz of the linen. I have something in my mind that sounds terrible wicked and evil... but i dont have a micro.. i would try to record that nightmare myself even my neiighbours might think i have lost it... lol.

 

Or anyone have a good movie from where something like that can be sampled from. I think sounds are very important. I love the trolls one. They are purely evil. Well, dont know if there was a voice in "the tunnel" or rec 1. But i think there was something like that,... anyone ?

The 'Greeting' and 'Acknowledgment' sounds of the "Mummy, Greater" soundset are not bad, actually. Basically half-chanted words in what's supposed to be an anient language (or possibly even an actual ancient language - not a linguist here). Would be interesting to have it chant like that throughout combat, as in invoking ancient gods and trying to curse those who'd disturb the rest of the dead.

 

Would it be possible to convert some of the NWN2 and MotB soundsets without running afoul of IP etc.? Cause, damnit, stuff like This (Myrkul and Kaelyn the Dove) or This (The Wood Man) are sooo much better than, for instance, "Dragon, Green Akula" ;D

There is an film series called mummy (there is and cursed egyptian mummy Imhotep in I + II)

imhotep was cursed becouse of his love of princess with killed pharaoh.

He tried to ressurect her, but was cought and cursed.

He is possesed with her and will do anything to ressurect her.

In the second movie he found her reincarnation, returned her memories from past life, but she wanted to use him for world conquest (skorpion king army.) he failed, she escaped and left him for dead.

Loup-garous are powerful cousins of the common werewolf. Even in animal form they are more powerful than common werewolves, lowland loup-garou are able to turn into a worg, and the mountain Loup-garou into a dire wolf.

They used project Q, Lycanthrope animations. So they can use weapons and shields. However they don't look especially well doing that. But I have allowed that because loup-garous in hybrid form are supposed to been able to manipulate things with its hands.

I know it! We already have lots of werewolves models, overrides, variations etc; However this model was too good, for being ignored...

I'm probably going to get a print of this for my own collection. I was talking to him about some of his other work, which includes 4-camera fish-eye panoramic photos. I let him know I had interest in some of his art, or potentially, his technique, for use in making exceptional quality skyboxes.
