I cannot be the only one who want to change the colors of either one. The colors of the SR-1 were not... that bad... but I still would have changed them. The SR-2 needed a color change. Would you have changed the colors of either one? If you did what colors would you make it? For the SR-1 I would have made it all black, for the SR-2 Cerberus version I still would have made it all black, but this time with blue trimming. For the Alliance SR-2 I would have made it all black again but with violet trimming and the Alliance logo from Star Wars. What? Who said we could not have crossovers?
Am I the only one who wanted to change to the colors of the Normandy?

We should be able to customize our ship in the next ME. I'd be so down for that. I do like the Alliance colors for the Normandy, but I hate the inside, but at least the lighting wasn't as super bright like the Cerberus interior.

Could we pick between Blue, Red or Green?
Black with some white striping/camouflage colours would look great.

I really liked the Cerberus Normandy. Yellow black and white go together pretty well. And say what you will about Cerberus, but at least they kept their ship clean *cough cough *Alliance SR2* cough*.
Also, Alliance blue was always boring to me.

I'd be down for plain Star Destroyer white.
No markings whatsoever.

Only in ME2.
Of course, I also wanted to scour the Cerberus logo off as well.

I always wondered why they would even bother putting up registration/identification markings on the hull. I mean the reasoning to not go for visual camouflage paint jobs has been there's no point to it given any engagement in space is far beyond visual detection ranges, so why bother with markings when you're telling everyone important all they need to know with F/F broadcasts anyway?

That's because Gardiner cleaned the toilets. On the Alliance SR-2 no one cleaned the toilets or the showers.
I liked the interior of the Cerberus SR-2. It was easier to find things.

I'd have preferred a gold and black scheme, but that's me

Me also; reminds me of the livery in the JPS lotus F1 car of the 1970's

I'd just go with gunship gray, and have pinup nose art of a woman with a Cain.

I like the SR-2's colors in ME2, but they never should have put in all those lens flares. Bad as the new Star Trek for that.

Its paint just like what you see now with the Normandy, right?

Applying camo paint on anything implies some sort of practical use, especially when this will be on a military-grade vessel, but I suppose it is still a design that people can like. I just see it as a little silly for a spaceship, but then again my own option for a Normandy re-paint is just as hokey.

It may be hilarious for you, but its not for the enemy and it works. It minimizes any possible casualties on our side. Anytime you have the opportunity to take out the enemy, you use whatever advantage that is available regardless of the weapon that you have.
