Yeah he's actually harder than you'd imagine.. He's the last Krogan for me, but I haven't even wanted to try him again after a couple of really tragic/rage-inducing fails. You have to really be on your toes the entire game with him (if you're using his melee and not playing like a pyjak).

Yep, I used the Venom with the melee dmg mod to stagger targets before striking them with melee attacks, worked ok on waves 1 and 2 but the big guy gets killed quite easily and mainly I didn't think it was much fun soloing with him, so out of the soloing airlock he goes together with the Merc.

all that garbage with the kits I don't like left a bad taste in my mouth and I hate ending things on a sour note, so here's this. Had great objectives but flat out horrible rocket use. Vindicator did manage 50 weapon kills tho, it's a cute little shitty gun and I like it.

Horrendous objectives for this one so not even close to my best time with this fat turian, but I just wanted to play with the turian. also, another crash happened during the load screen so didn't get the scoreboard. I don't really want to solo plat anymore so going to stop for now, but was contractually obligated to make sure this post contained a fat turian

Nice strategy, doing all those BEs on the Atlases to take out the surrounding mooks.

I imagine all these videos you take are propaganda videos taken by drones, or omni tools of their respective users and then broadcasted in the MEverse to boost and raise morale of the troops. If that is so, I imagine asari adept is one of the most popular troopers out there... for many reasons

 

I also imagine she gets ton of creepy fanmail

My first, and possibly last, platinum solo. Objectives were targets, pizza and an escort. I had tried this earlier without the Acolyte and it did not work out quite so well once the Phantoms came out to play.

Yes, platinum phantoms can be quite annoying without guns like the Acolyte, I Always bring it myself when I solo with the GT.

2nd try, first was against the Reapers which ended with wave 10 devices, so I tried again with Cerberus and got devices again on wave 10 but this time I managed to do it. Reapers are faster with this set-up but I just can't stand all those double Banshee Waves more than once per solo attempt.

Devices, Devices, Pizza


Not as bad as I expected it to be, Acolyte + Lash worked out pretty good for Phantoms but the Dragoons are still a pain with guns like he Wraith.

All Batarians are now done.

Bad objectives and bad spawns behind me with plenty of nerd rage - 2 failed wave 10 targets but on the 3rd run I got wave 10 devices which I managed as I got lucky with the locations.

2nd attempt, got targets on both wave 6 and 10 the first try which made it impossible.

Another wave 10 devices on the 2nd try, had to use my last nuke to clear one of the devices which made clean up take forever.

But I won't redo this mediocre kit for a better time - **** you QFE.

^Sub-30 plat solo is never anything to scoff at, still plenty of ways to eat it even with Flamer GT

Volus Vanguard

This was ridiculous, 4 straight wave 10 targets. My first 2 attemps was with the Lancer and Acolyte, but after 2 failed wave 10 targets yesterday I had enough and went over to the Venom/Hurricane today.

First attempt today and it was wave 10 targets again, fail and nerd rage. So I decided to give it one final try and wave 10 comes up - targets again (seriously what are the odds for that?

I had 2 nukes left and by using all my thermal clips I managed to get down the 2 final Atalases, down side of course is that Clean up takes forever.

On the positive side though it was 10 wave survived which felt good.

I have now soloed all Vanguards.

One more wave 10 targets and I will probably "retire" again.....

So for fun a GE/Adas solo, and guess what - wave 10 targets again.

So I guess I have to retire for a while again.
