Thanks for the explanation and the in deep analysis. Very helpful.
Especially the "Close Q Combat Crowd Control Console" thoughts . This situations usually gets me into most trouble during my solo attempts.

 

This and the lack of Shotgun Amps!

Drell Assassin Infiltrator (10 WS)

Objectives were devices, object recovery, hack. No running with objects because it´s clearly cheating not because I mostly suck at it. Not sure if this was 10 WS run because I don´t remember it (early dementia?) and picture is too blurry and taken with a phone so I´m not sure which medal is in a bottom left. If someone can tell it please do so.

Yes, Devices on all 3 ******* waves, the try Before I failed wave 3 devices.

WTF is this, for the last 25 tries or so it's just targets and devices over and over and over again. Only getting 10 WS keept me going past wave 3.

Drell Assassin with Arc pistol is by far the most fun solos I have done in a long time.

To be honest, it was my goal : provoking you to make you get out of your comfort zone. I knew that you were skilled enough to use other weapons and that you would appreciate the change. I find trying to hit the head of Phantoms and Dragoons with the Arc pistol or any other hitscan weapon always fun.

Well, I have used used quite a lot of different guns (but I happily admit I have used the Venom far more than anything else ), I even did a solo with the Predator pistol once, the only thing I haven't done yet though is a sniper rifle solo, that might be something for the future...

Better not, already spent way to much time on this game, if I had constant access to all the consumables I wanted I'd probably spend even more time on it.

And haxing the game that way is obviously cheating as I see it, the grind for consumables is an obvious part of the games design. All things accomplished through cheating are worth nothing in my book, but that's just me.

This was my first successful Plat Solo. Many failures with many characters...as it goes. Got to Wave 10 without using Missiles, so pretty happy about that.
Decided to go with something highly defensive so I'd survive (Cryo Rounds IV, Responder Loadout and Cyclonic Mod IV)

I have lost one Atlas on second wave - have no idea what happened to him. This is about +12 seconds, I think. As a result, we get something like 19:55, so it's still sub20.
 
I also managed to beat my personal record in 10 WS plat solo:

It seems as in my recent bat solo, that their health gate is longer than other species. I have stayed alive quite a few time i was sure to go down, and it seems u too.

Don't you also just love it when you have a perfect run with 9 WS and great objectives on 3 and 6 and then you reach wave 10 and you get TARGETS again for the 5th try in a row. It's just a game but in cases like that I'm close to smashing the PC and forgetting I ever played MEMP.
