Fraps is a drain regardless of configuration for older or low-end systems. My old AMD Phenom/Radeon 5850 system couldn't handle it without tanking the framerate unless I was okay with absolute potato quality videos, whereas recording in Afterburner wasn't a problem, for the most part.
Btw. do try Nvidia Shadowplay if you have Nvidia rig, it comes with the Geforce Experience kit, it claims to use GPU only and so far, I've not experienced any fps drop recording ME3 (or DAI) at 720@60.
Does any one want to take over the task of compiling the stats? It's fairly easy to update it as long as your excel skills are semi-decent.
If no-one else fancies doing this then I might be able to help out.
i m a bit overworked atm, so if cato s back !! ...

I use shadowplay myself on my current PC, I was only mentioning fraps as it was mentioned upthread and my last PC did not have an Nvidia card so I had to use other software.

It might be for the good. I'm getting more and more lazy with updating it so much so that the workbook only shows Techno's total as 296 while her tally is 298. I'll message you the most recent one.

they're... they're glorious and fat
I'm not foolish enough to say I'm "retiring" for the millionth time but I can safely say I have successfully burnt myself out and will be taking a very, very long break

Finally, it has happened: I soloed a Platinum match. I still don't have a camera (or a phone with a proper camera), so I am going to post the details in more pictures.
Location, enemy, points, username, class
DIfficulty, medals, mission outcome
Objectives: escort, devices, hack
My previous soloing attempts usually ended in W7 or W8, this time I extracted! Actually, there weren't many dangerous moments, took my sweet time, not getting greedy and running around a lot. W3 was an escort, that was the hardest objective, I had to kite a lot because the enemies spawned near the drone, and a lot of Marauders camped between the starting (next to where you start) and ending points (down at the entrance/exit of the control room where sometimes there is a hack). W6 went smoother than I thought, enemies only got a clear line when I ended/nearly ended the device, so I always got away without any health damage. W7 was by far the hardest wave, the Banshees, Phantoms and Turrets made me run more, so that wave was long. I prioritized the Combat Engineers, so I didn't meet more than 2 turrets per run. W10 was hack in the collapsed roof, this was the only wave when a Prime+pets nearly killed me, so I popped an ops pack.
Cyclonic IV really made a difference. In my previous runs the Banshee balls were the most dangerous hazards. With a III, it took my shields down and ate away the health instantly, whereas here ~15% of the shield remained, so by turning off Hunter Mode during the DoT, it only costed me a half bar a health damage (which replenishes, so no permanent damage). Nevertheless, I was extra careful, so I only got hit by 2-3 times. My aiming also improved, so I was able to majorly damage or take out Banshees with headshots, so they didn't pose that much of threat as before.
Also, which I am really proud: it was a flawless run. My first successful Plat solo is a flawless one. I didn't even use any of the consumables, except from that one ops pack. No rocket, no medi-gel, no thermal packs. So it is a 10WS.
Some other things: with only this solo I noticed that PM doesn't count as a tech damage, because I didn't get the medal, but I was taking out groups of husks with it. What does it count for? Also, sometimes strangely a BW husk kill appeared in the feed as a proxy kill, when I previously used one of it. First I thought another husk stepped into one on another side of the map, but no. It's a minor thing (the D-pad confusion is way worse), anyway. Also, does anybody know how the cloak cycle gets messed up? Sometimes it gets a bonus cycle (like 6A would with a power) and cooldowns with max time. I reload cancel with a recharging cloak, that makes this I think, but it's really rare, and I don't know if I am causing it or it's just a random bug?

congrats on the solo, great feeling i guess with that almost flawless run
it seems PM counts as a combat power, so, no medals.
Cloak bugs like this randomly, mostly off host in theory

Thanks. I thought flawless means no death, but it actually means no consumables?
I didn't experience the cloak bug in this match, but during pugging, nowadays I don't start a lobby but join another. But it's good to know I can expect that.

Objectives were pretty good as escort, hack, objective recovery but I lacked of good shooting. Couldn´t kill lonely Phantom one meter away with 10 shots. True sniper hero recognized.

If I remember correctly, that can happen because the ammo component (in your case warp ammo) of your weapon's damage is applied to the enemy before the rest of the weapon's actual damage.
If that ammo damage is powerful enough on its own to kill the enemy then the kill will not be attributed to your weapon. Instead it will be attributed to anything else that had previously damaged the enemy (such as Proximity Mine).
Congrats on your first Platinum solo.

Sorry I didn't post it right away, but here it is.
My second plat solo. I chose the Collectors, as they seemed the hardest to do, given that I play on a PS3.
Location, enemy, username, points, class
Difficulty, mission outcome, medals
Objectives: devices, targets, targets
My plan was to deal with the hard freeze culprits first, so prioritize Praetorians (try to say this out loud fast three times) and shooting Captains if I can. I brought an Armored Compartment, if a wave had 2 crabs I kited and nuked them together. W2 was the first of this wave, I was lucky because they spawned with Scions and others, so I got a killstreak and half the wave budget with it. W3 was devices, nothing peculiar. W4 was a scrubby wave, I died twice, to a Scion carpet-bombing and a Possessed Captain CSMG frenzy. I was a bit disheartened, because I thought this is it, it is going to end earlier. W6 was targets. I could take out one PP's with the rifle, but the remaining three I had to nuke. An A-bomb or that lone Atlas or the crab's buddy always get to me first or made the target stuck, so often I didn't have a clear line of shot for enough time to kill it. W8 was difficult and long, always taking out the PP before the two Primes could stunlock me to death (they did it once). I started W10 with 1 gel, 3 ops and 5 rockets. I didn't dare to risk the solo (1.messing it up 2.two PP's so hardfreeze risk), so I nuked every target. The last rocket went to the freshly spawned Praetorian duo. RIP crabs, that four seconds of life was exactly what you deserved. W11 was just running around, avoiding Primes, Dragoons and the others, so the landing zone could be empty for me to extract.
I feel the time isn't actually very bad, considering I always concentrated on the crabs first, often not touching others. The Primes could snipe me, but in return I could snipe the PP's from a distance, so it was a good trade-off. I could have done better though, an earlier run at a W10 wipe was 68 minutes long. Sometimes it was funny because I strafed forward-backward, left-right with Abombs while sniping at the Praetorian, so that looked like an interesting and very deadly dance. Luckily, I got jumped only twice, both in the beginning of the match and by a lone abomination, it didn't cost me anything.
PS
Thanks to evnltn and co. for the Collector Protocol, without it I couldn't have planned a Collector solo.
quite incredible stuff
i m trying to solo glacier cerb with the fury with arc pistol and i have not settled on a build, nor a gameplay.
I had couple aggressive tries relying on AF Throw bE and speed, the usual deal with her (for me) but i suffered quite much, and despite cheating my way to extrac, i needed 40 min lol.... Was using a 63656 AP round build
I m also discovering i never tried nor considered Throw 5b (5a is quite a deal). I guess it works only for every other BE? Even though 2 quick ones sound better than one bigger. Have u guys/gals tried it ?
What do you prefer ?
I m already convinced passive are quite useless compare to more rank in DC. (what was i thinking...)
After looking at smehur's Build and time (vid), i m inclined to focus more on arc pistol and DC. Not sure AP or drill wld not still be better than warp ...
Geez, I've entered the challenge myself and I know understand your predicament. I feel so clumsy using the arc pistol on the Fury what the hell. I went with Smehur's build too as I needed some guidance but no acolyte and Glacier is pretty tough. Not sure how long it's going to take me to make that run, let alone with a decent time T_T
