Geez, I've entered the challenge myself and I know understand your predicament. I feel so clumsy using the arc pistol on the Fury what the hell. I went with Smehur's build too as I needed some guidance but no acolyte and Glacier is pretty tough. Not sure how long it's going to take me to make that run, let alone with a decent time T_T

YEah, atlas shield are a big pain ! Btw i m not sure anymore there R double hits on atlas shield ? FEels like no ! Anyway, i quite confident AP + AC V or Drill + GS is a bit better than warp rounds

 

Phantom are quite easily disposed off when they didnt respwn 3 m behind u while u R rushed by the goon wagoon . I still have to practice avoiding their DR before the throw BE

Anyway Arc pistol DPS seems better than rushing BEing further than few meters away from RHA

Did this one for the Themed Challenge Group. This solo was about as fun as slamming my head against the wall over and over again for a half hour. 

Got a really nice time too, anything useful to share ? What was your build ?

Don't know what you mean by double hits, even if I did I'd probably wouldn't be able to answer you. I still have no idea how the game works, everytime I don't understand a mechanic I just come up with a ridiculous explanation or just ignore it and it's problem solved, only it isn't really haha.

There are some very challenging solos in the themed challenge thread. A solo challenge is mainly based on the kit/gun and faction/map you chose. For an experienced soloer doing Cerberus on White/Gigant or Glacier with the Venom, Reegar or Arc Pistol is pretty quick. For me personally I don't have the patience or interest anymore to do solos with the Predator pistol etc since it takes to long. But for those that don't mind spending an hour or two there are some real challenges to try!

Multiple hits on units mean hitting successively different subpiece along the bullet trajectory, each of them recording damage for themselves (up to breaking) and to the total armor pool point.

With enough penetration Ravager (with sufficient angle, two sacs and the ravager itself) and Atlas (small canopy, canopy's inside, atlas itself) might suffer triples hits. Praetorian HS can also lead to a second normal hit. Banshees (with hand of denial raised) and Scion suffer double hits too.

Obviously, who do you take me for I'm not some lowly scrub ffs... Okay haha I had no idea, so I guess that's why sometimes the ravager will take 2 shots to die and sometimes 4, makes sense. Thanks for the info, I feel kinda knowledgeble now. (its not sarcasm I really do)

With both piercing mods or enuff penetration if you fire at an atlas's arm at an angle so that it hits the first arm goes through canopy and exit through 2nd arm a single black widow shot will take off seven bars off of gold atlas armor.

My build was sort of a mistake actually, I meant to skip passives and max DC and had already put all the points in fitness but accidentally clicked an evo in passives so ended up with this. I didn't want to fish in the stupid store for another reset powers so just went with it.

Well I'm done with it anyways, only problem is I got wave 3 Targets and wave 10 devices, so I was already struggling with an Arc Pistol Fury but that was too much. Now I'll have to get a good time with the Geth Trooper to go under the 100mn, but considering how OP is the flamer , even though I've never soloed the kit, I don't think it will be that difficult. Burn Them All !!!

 

 

Edit : On that topic, I need a strong build for Geth Trooper with acolyte only against Reapers on White Hazard. TTT you've made an insane time iirc, care to help ? Also Bateman if you have a build I'd be happy to see it, or anyone that feels confident about a build that could get me around 30mn, preferably less.

Dude, Geth scanner on a HM kit?

I don't have access to my PC for a few days so can't link from Kalence.

I went with 6/6/6/4/4, I prefer a bit extra survivability over an additional 15% power damage, but if you want that I'd probably recommend 6/6/6/5/3.

For fortification I used both dmg reduction evos and power damage. For flamer I had dmg, dmg and armor dmg.

For hunter mode power recharge, power dmg and speed and vision. Just like a lot of power descriptions the dmg evo in HM is misleading, it don't give an additional 10% dmg it's much less.

It's the Acolyte for this challenge, not the arc pistol but I used the same pistol mods as you have.

For gear power amp IV and disruptor ammo, not sure if warp is better for Reapers though.

I havent try for 2 weeks or so. At the time i was always punished at some point. And AF priming was bugging a lot

Same here. The 15% health and shield bonus would be better than the 10% DR if no cyclonics. But with those big shield u better off with 7% more DR.

Anybody got tips for soloing dagger hazard? My last run ended as a bleed out on extraction wave after 85 or so minutes. It's against collectors with Human Infiltrator. No geth scanner and no Armored Compartments, changing weapons (tried Claymore and CSR so far)

 

Camp in the donut room for as long as possible and try and funnel them down the left corridor. When it gets crowded head out the right corridor to the alt extraction point. then slowly loop your way counterclockwise back to the donut room. Being out in the open is bound to get you killed by the insane accuracy of the possessed scions, praetorians, and primes. I usually nuke w8 and save my nukes for wave 10.

I'm not sure why you choose to restrict yourself, by not using geth scanner or armor compartments, if you're trying to improve your time using those gear bonus difficultly help. Reegar, Wraith, Talon, Arc,  Lancer, Venom, and Hurricane w/ (scorpion or acolyte combo) are the best guns to use on that map vs Collectors. I would probably not use the human infiltrator as they have relatively low dps compared to other infiltrators and useless powers vs Collectors.

Yeah, I think I'm still traumatized by my run with the Arc Fury, and I guess I'm so used to having Geth Scan that I put it without thinking. So yeah, I did go Armored Compartements and Acolyte  . 

 

Thanks for sharing, gave me a few things to think about. On the other hand, I only thought about asking just before getting ready to do the solo. I waited like 2 minutes in a vain hope someone would happen to magically have a great build to offer in that short period of time. Then I did the solo. Got about 30 minutes with great objectives. It's more than what I would have hoped, I believe in part due to bad use of rockets, obviously there's also the issue of my crappy gameplay. Still, even if it's not a time I'm too happy about, it allows me to go under 100 and think I'll be too lazy to give this another go.

 

If I ever do, I can tell right away that you already conviced me with incendiary rounds TTT. I can't believe I didn't think about that myself, no such thing as over burning, burn them...burn them all.
