First, double dose of turian sentinel (no, I'm not trying to seduce Techno  ), both with Lancer, my usual weapon on him.

Started attempts Harrier only but Phantoms were too annoying.  Switched to Venom.  Got a lost connection to ME3 server message two attempts in a row, then did this one.  Straight packages.  Had one noob missile and did a bad job on Wave 10 cleanup.

(Objectives: Hack > pizza > loldevices) Lost 10 WS due to a ravager on wave 10 cleanup. So close....

 

If you consider ctc's 3 venom solos, capn's venom solo and mine, venom is only 3 spots behind reegar as the most used weapon in solos with only one weapon equipped. I'll do my best to help the venom conquer the first spot.

In the overall category, venom is behind hurricane by 11 spots, and behind reegar by 17 spots. Acolyte is far ahead though.

Completed 54 solos across all 19 maps and all 4 factions using 31 different kits.

Favourite soloing class is Soldier.

Favourite weapon is the N7 Hurricane.

Completed more solos than any other PS3 player. In fact, completed more solos than the lowest 18 PS3 players combined.

 

Fastest time - 34:58

Slowest time - 78:48

Average time - 59:05

 

Only artvandalay81 and TheNightSlasher have completed more solos with Human characters.

No-one has completed more Collector Adept solos.

Only TheNightSlasher has completed more Vorcha solos.

 

Solo'd against Cerberus for longer than any other faction.

Only 3 players have ever completed more Platinum solos.

Total time of successful solos - 53 hours and 10 minutes.

After some failed attempts with different kits and on different maps I decided to complete my Asari Huntress platinum solo journey against all factions, before expanding to other maps and kits again. Giant has become her home, so I report in three more Huntress solos on FBG. Additionally to the Reapers now the Collectors, Cerberus and Geth can all kiss that little Asari's ass:

I was honestly surprised, that Cerberus was the easiest of the four factions for my favorite kit (best time against Reapers was 85 minutes - already reported for the HOF). Geth was the usual bullshit - I can't say it any other way than I HATE GETH, while the Collectors game if I remember right (played that one two and a half weeks ago) took long, but was also relatively easy going with patience.

 

Having beat all four factions on Platinum makes my Asari a Spectre, right?

Interesting to see a higher % of collector solos by xbox compared to PC.

PS3's issues with collectors is quite clearly highlighted. 

As suspected, infiltrators and soldiers dominate the class-wise breakdown, but engineers being the least preferred class by soloers is something I didn't expect. The lack of any proper tanky kits (krogans or batarians or stims etc) could be a reason.

A couple of other things I noticed:

 

There are no XBox solos on Goddess in the HoF. Also, no XBox solos with the Asari Vanguard, N7 Demolisher, N7 Paladin, Quarian Male Infiltrator, Quarian Marksman or Vorcha Engineer have been completed.

 

There are no PS3 solos with the Batarian Sentinel, N7 Destroyer, Quarian Female Engineer or Talon Mercenary in the HoF either.

Although I am still skeptical about the robustness of the PC data, I would claim the competing effects skewing it in opposite directions are hitscan faction avoidance versus speedruns against Cerberus.  That would be my guess without looking through all the solos.

Interesting stuff, cato. I thouhgt PC would completely destroy consoles in terms of average time but no, PS3 is very close.

 

Without surprise, nobody likes geth, and nobody on PS3 solo against collectors. Engineers being the least used class is a consistent data since I update the PHOF and probably since its beginning. I think that this is due to the absence in this class of a very cheesy or tanky character like all other classes have (GT for soldiers, TGI for infiltrators, kroguard for vanguards, etc.).

 

Reegar not in the top 5 weapons for Xbox, and PPR in second position on this platform, whereas this weapon isn't in the top 5 for PC and PS3. Surprising.

Re PPR... my guess is that there are two reasons for the difference.  The first is the xbox cult that grew up around the weapon, and secondly it isn't that great against enemies when they lock in 3 seconds unless you can boost the damage a lot, and the two characters good at that are GI and TGI and both have other options that are effective.

It doesn't matter, just crazy ramblings.  But for specific factions Cerberus and Collectors have the most hitscan dps.  I think it still works out the same on Platinum despite being mixed.

Devices, Escort, Hack.  Actually these objectives worked out fairly decently although devices took a while.  Hacks are great if you can glitch them.  I got grabbed in an attempt before this one trying to get off a good cleanup missile on 10, which I thought was bs actually.  Also that game was interesting for getting the middle Hack twice and then the hack in the power station.

 

For this one a Banshee tries to pick me up at 12:50 but my cluster grenades didn't allow it.

 

Used Harrier.  Venom might have been better.
