It doesn't matter, just crazy ramblings.  But for specific factions Cerberus and Collectors have the most hitscan dps.  I think it still works out the same on Platinum despite being mixed.

Devices, Escort, Hack.  Actually these objectives worked out fairly decently although devices took a while.  Hacks are great if you can glitch them.  I got grabbed in an attempt before this one trying to get off a good cleanup missile on 10, which I thought was bs actually.  Also that game was interesting for getting the middle Hack twice and then the hack in the power station.
 
For this one a Banshee tries to pick me up at 12:50 but my cluster grenades didn't allow it.
 
Used Harrier.  Venom might have been better.

I've been using the Crusader with both piercing mods equipped on the Slasher recently and it's really good. If you have the fix for the Crusader's wonky timing I imagine it'd be great.

Here's something I found interesting:

 

44% of all solos in the HoF (for which we have weapon data) involved only hitscan weapons. Broken down by enemy faction the figures are as follows: Cerberus (43%), Collectors (52%), Geth (41%), Reapers (42%).

 

Collectors with their relative lack of Phantoms probably explains why a majority of their solos only used hitscan weapons. But I was surprised to see Cerberus higher (albeit very slightly) than the Geth and Reapers - projectile weapons are actually more common against either of those two factions than against Cerberus.

A difference of 1-2% may not be significant (in the statistical sense), but I agree that we could have assumed that projectile weapons were more used against Cerberus, and by a good margin. I think that what explain this is the good bunch of solos done by PC players against Cerberus with the Arc Pistol.

Krogan Soldier

I just have to say that DR-bubble-Phantoms and double Banshees can suck my Krogan´s tiny tail and choke on it. I was struggling a lot with all those waves. Venom would have been the right answer and I was too shy using thermal clips. Objectives were devices, targets, targets. Bad luck with double targets but managed to change 3rd and 4th targets to Ravagers on wave 6.

Vorcha Soldier

After watching TheNightSlasher´s awesome solo I decided to try it out too. My Vorcha haven´t played with Venom but it fits with flamer pretty well. Objectives were devices, pizza, escort. I had to use 3 missiles in escort because of two ridiculous spawns.

It's good, though I would prefer that the Wraith dominates both of them.

You can cheat and take them with Flamer or Inferno Grenades kits  !

I will lead the charge for the GPSG to take over the venom AND Reegar. I've only got to do like 60 or 70 more solos with it.

Yeah with no dodge and slow acceleration it can be tricky.  Running melee can help in two ways here though.  Sometimes it can act like a dodge to get you out of a tight spot and raise DR.  Or you can try to use it against Phantoms to stagger them and drop their DR.  The latter mostly works if you have good timing, but if she rolls a sync kill she might go into that despite being staggered.

A really shoddy run after a few failed attempts with different kits on this map. I somehow contrived to use three gels during a simple pizza delivery on wave 3 and had to play cautiously afterwards but at least Hydra is done now................and it's one more for TNS's Venom cause.

Another one of my hated solo maps is out of the way now. Condor, Ghost (Hazard) & Glacier (Hazard) left to be completed. I don't mind either of the Hazard maps (although my PS3 does) but I'm pretty bad at Condor - any tips?

I got really sloppy on wave 8 and wasted 3 gels and an ops pack, but otherwise it was pretty smooth.

Escort, Hack, Hack.  There were a lot of attempts after the previous one until I got this one.  Which was doubly irritating to me since I don't like this character.  The short version was some sync kills, Targets x3 bs, more Prime stun on extraction... But then I did this one and barely got out.  But did extract so I can cross this terrible character off the list.  And also now there are technically two Fury solos on an Earth map.

 

This also means I have completed one with each of the adepts.

Since Engineers are next, I was looking through the ones I haven't done.  I think one of TheNightSlasher's Vorcha Hunter solos is listed as Wraith when it was really Venom.  The link goes to a pic that says Venom Hunter.  Maybe he can comment.  Only bringing up since that would give Venom another solo in the stats.
