Novaguard vs. Reapers (video)

This was reasonably easy if you can navigate the double banshee waves. The ability of the novaguard to wreck phantoms made the later waves rather simple. I ended up using just one gel and 2 ops packs (I used a 3rd in the LZ during extraction to make sure of it).

Nice solo. It seems like youtube or your recording software couldn't handle the awesomeness of that 'nova off a balcony onto enemies head' at about 1:40.

It's not YT's fault. When I try to process the video to compress it and stuff, some parts in the video get messed up. Luckily, the glitchiness lasted only for a few seconds. Sometimes, a whole minute gets cut out.

Probably it's possible to do something about that. These glitches are becoming your distinctive style

As for the vid itself, gotta watch it later.

Originally, I wanted to do it on Jade or London. But Jade kept throwing brutal objectives, and brutes and ravagers effectively block the stairways making it a PITA. London proved to be buggy with banshee warps hitting me through solid walls - which is quite annoying for a character that depletes shields on purpose. Goddess is a map I like quite a lot, and so I picked it - it was always my third choice for this solo.

Too bad I got devices wave 10. This wave alone last almost 6 minutes, so it could have been a 33-34 minutes run with a more friendly objective. I dont't think I will redo it tough. 

 

 

I indicate also that I have modified the text color in the different sections of the PHOF, so it should be clearly visible for everybody now.

12-15 CM IVs, disruptor IVs and SG IIIs were used to get this one done. There are only a very few solos I've done that took more tries for completion than this.

You're welcome. I like batarians too (especially the batsol, who totally trivializes Cerberus), so it was a fun solo. I think that you have to do a batdept solo iirc. But, if you're a true batarian, you will have to do that with the Raider or the Kishock  !
