Being frugal with my missiles paid dividends again. I got targets on wave 10 and there's absolutely no way I would have been able to complete it without 4 rockets, double Primes are just horrible on Jade.

This one ended up being very similar to the Jade solo I did immediately before, except I got targets on wave 3 and wave 10. I've now solo'd every faction with the Cabal, not an amazing kit for fast times but she's very reliable.

Straight packages.  Had to try this a zillion times because if you miss a guy you die basically.  Also doing all these vanguards recently has really turned me off to the game.

 

Anyway, I just finished Novaguard v Collectors, but that is compressing right now.  So no more of them left to do.

 

That means for me personally the only character I haven't done is Human Infiltrator, but I haven't submitted a Drell Infiltrator to the HoF, so I need to do both of them.  Maybe at least one of those I will do Unknown Unknown, but I doubt I could resist rage-quitting if it is a stupid map so I don't know if it would even be worth it.

I watched parts of the video.  Seems to be more of a Wraith solo than Novaguard.  In any case, good job as Collectors are difficult for vanguards.

Thanks. Only TheNightSlasher had done that combo before, the Cabal's maneuverability made it seem easier than it really is.

I usually play her with the Wraith and use Shadow Strike a lot but I was in a "1 try, 1 success" mode so I didn't want to be too much at melee range. RNG was first very kind with the 2 best possible pizzas but then became a b***h with targets w6 and 10. Hopefully I had managed to keep 4 missiles for wave 10.

I also kept 4 missiles for wave 10 for this one. I didn't get targets but it helped to do a tricky device.

 

 

The volus engineer was the last character I hadn't solo'd plat with. For now, around 20 kits don't have a video. Indeed, I didn't upload most of my solos these last weeks, either because it was too cheesy (like AIU Reegar) or too repetitive (Venom solos against Cerberus, mostly on Giant).
I will nevertheless upload some of these solos in the next days for a better level of proof and keep screenshots for a dozen characters.

 

I could have done it faster (and with a better average time) but the lack of consumables limited my rythm, this is a big issue for console soloers.
I think that around 1/3 of these solos has been done with an unoptimal equipment (level 1,2 weapon amp, level 1-3 armor bonus). It forced me sometimes to use unoptimal builds, ie taking more fitness than I wanted.

 

I'm the third "Fleet admiral", but the first on consoles. This madness is dedicated to all the posters in this thread and all the cool guys and girls here in BSN, they will recognize themselves. Cheers  .

Thanks guys, and congrats to capn too. Two fleet admiral the same day, it's awesome. 

 

@cato : I don't think so, I have always been more interested by characters than weapons. I appreciate challenges, but I try to find a certain "RPG logic" in my solos. And, while a find a logic in the fact that any character could be mobilized for a plat solo, I consider quite unlikely that this character could be send for such a hard mission with a crappy weapon like the Shuriken while killing machines like the Harrier exist. Well, that's maybe just how I try to find a logic for not engaging myself into this.

 

But I will probably do some solos with weapons I like and haven't used yet (Crusader, for example), or with weapons who aren't very popular in the PHOF despite being pretty good (like the Indra). I will also probably redo some of the solos I liked these last weeks (Geth Engineer, Destroyer...) but did in a hurry with an unoptimal equipment or build.

 

Finally, I have never really tried to do a speedrun (I know, weird), so I will probably give it a shot. I don't want to retire without any sub-30 around my belt.

 

 

But all of this isn't precisely scheduled, I will now let the inspiration (and maybe some of your stats) leading what I will do. My soloing rythm will probably decrease a lot in the next weeks. I will also dedicate some time to play the 2 new Assassin's Creed.

 

By the way cato do you plan to rejoin me in the Fleet admiral club ?

I'll try to do solos with the rest of my preferred kits which might take me up to 40-45 but I think that will be all.

I feel your pain cato, I also got pizzas (wave 3 and 10) in this solo. But I had Stim Packs, so it was a lot less hard.

After many failed vanguard attempts (mostly with the N7 Slayer), I decided to let the Krogan Vanguard shoot all those damn pyjaks from his planet. I went full weapon and power damage (carnage) plus damage reduction mode and put zero points into biotic charge. So hereby I report my scrubby Krogan Vanguard solo in:

With this solo, I have completed solos with all classes. Human Adept, Geth Trooper, Human Engineer, Paladin Sentinel, Asari Huntress and now the Krogan Vanguard...

 

For our stats people: pizza, devices, targets as objective waves.

 

BTW: a thank you card goes to that geth pyro who burned me to death while a phantom stabbed me.

Targets/escort/targets

 

Turned out to be easier than I expected, despite two target objectives. Atlases on wave 5 were the only major annoyance with scorpion as almost every other enemy unit on Geth platinum pays some attention to decoy (brutes and ravagers are the other exceptions). Wave 3 targets were a bit of a drag as I killed all 4 primes with scoprion + ED + incinerate combo (decoy worked wonders on w3). Luckily, I had 3 missiles going into w10 and so, got rid of first 3 targets quickly giving me enough time to deal with the fourth prime without rockets. All in all, it was a fun solo.
