Congrats. But I noticed in your build that you choose Tech Combo at rank 6 of Snap Freeze. That evo is bugged on the Paladin and has no effect, so you'd be better off choosing Damage & Weakness instead. Luckily, because of yet another bug, you'll still be able to get double damage tech combos as long as you pick Reach at rank 4.

The AIU's version of Snap Freeze doesn't suffer from that bug.

Noted. The tech explosions do already so much damage, that I didn't recognize 6b being bugged. I will experiment with Snap Freeze Rank 6a and Incinerate 6a or b instead the next few games I play with the Paladin. In the past I played with Incinerate 6b, but then somehow stuck with Snap Freeze 6b some time ago, because it seemed to work...

btw, the paladin double combo damage given by reach (rank 4) is only for Cryo explosion primed by SF IIRC

Yeah, sorry, I should have included a link to back that up but I see br4in has that covered now.

If you currently choose Reach at rank 4 of Snap Freeze then you'll already be getting double damage cryo explosions so switching to Damage & Weakness at rank 6 will only give you about 100 points more damage and some more armour weakening - but that's better than nothing.

But DAMN wave 7 is fast as a mothaf*cka!

Wave 7 is particular. With some characters (notably kits with grenades), it can be fast and easy, sometimes almost a joke for a wave 7 platinum (with the quarian engineer for example).

 

But, with some other characters, it can be a big pain in the ***. I remember that, for example, this wave was the most painful for the solos I did with the Juggernaut and the one in which I burnt the most ops packs.

 

For me wave 7 has often been some kind of a turning point. When I pass it without too much trouble, I often make it to the end, unless I got a too hard objective wave 10.

Now that I think about it, even in team games if the team doesn't have classes or powers with good crowd control or stagger for those dragoons & phantoms rushing, it can get pretty nasty.
