I know its a bit off-topic (if you wanted to PM me in reply rather than derail the thread, that would be understandable), but I'm curious since she's one of the few kits that I still don't play much and just don't know wtf to do with (don't know how to spec her, play her, proper loadout, etc.)- how do you spec her?
^You can discuss it here guys, no problem. The build is linked with "Turian Cabal". As for the strategy, it would be interesting to read how cato play the Cabal since he has done a good bunch of plat solos with her.
My build is my post you quoted, it's 46664. Passives are all weapon damage and Biotic Focus is specced for duration, DR and i-frames. I played another round against Cerberus with the Paladin Sentinel yesterday. Another "record" time for me. That's my ninth N7 Paladin solo, so for now I guess I will retire him and switch to other kits again. But anyone who hasn't regularly killed Phantoms with cryo explosions - highly recommended!

Not as much faster as I hoped for without targets in 6 or 10 as objective wave, but a tiny bit faster nonetheless...

Derp. Lol. Before you ask how my foot tastes, I'll just say in my defense that I had initially looked at his other Cabal 10 WS (which is after that one, and doesn't link to the build), but then quoted the first one when I actually posted that. But yes, in general, L2read is good advice.

Smehur also asked about the playstyle a few pages back and it's quite simple. It's kind of defensive and focused almost entirely on headshots with the Arc Pistol, with Biotic Focus allowing me to tank any damage when I'm lining them up.
Nightshade Blades are used on groups or when I need a quick stagger, Poison Strike is only used to relocate quickly.
Honestly, I would change the build to be more aggressive (& fun) and concentrate on PS with a good priming weapon if I was just playing team games. But for Platinum solos I find 46664 to be more reliable and a great choice for getting 10 waves survived - so far it's only quite tanky kits that I've used for those solos.

Is the geth scanner here specifically to get 10 WS cato ? Or you would take it anyway over grenade capacity ?

What? Why? Windows 8 is fabulous. If you disregard the metro/modern... thing. Installs in 15', loads in 15'', can run smoothly for months (and I don't mean without reinstalling, I mean without resetting).

You made me check some of my solos ; the lowest I have found is a 294k Flamer run. I think that your... hmm... "performance" is hard to beat 
(too bad you got the 5 ws medal, it was potentially a 277k solo ! ).
Yeah, the Metro UI was a spectacularly stupid idea. The only real advantage Windows has over other operating systems, in my opinion, is familiarity and the years of experience that users have of it - so to create a completely new, horribly un-intuitive interface was moronic. The problem is that Origin does not work well under Wine yet.
Complaining about Metro at this stage is pointless, it's already dead in the water since Windows 10 won't be using it.
Just install Pokki and use the standard desktop and you never need to look at Metro again.

I dlike to get rid of windows, so it would be great if we could run games from linux (without emulating windows)
You can run most of the Steam catalogue under Linux with native support, only EA games are mostly excluded, notably ME3.

Anyway, the reason I hate it is the repeated 0xc00021a (blue screen of death) error or whatever it's called. It won't boot up properly, can't find the problem, can't repair it, won't enter safe mode, can't refresh or do a system restore - it's basically forcing me into a system reset and hard drive wipe which is a real PITA. Happened a few times now but this is the first time I can't find a solution.
Sorry about that, rant over.
If anyone knows a fix I'd be grateful.
Sorry to hear that. Sounds nasty. If I were in your shoes, I'd reset, make sure all the drivers are up to date, make sure windows update is doing its thing, make sure all data that matters gets backed up regularly, and if the thing persists, start squinting at hardware. How old is the laptop? Did you consider trying warranty?

Just following TechnoTurian´s footsteps. TS is badass character but soldiers are not my favourites in this game. Wave 7 was one of the most enjoyable waves because of scorpion, marksman and proxi mine. Objectives were escort, hack, pizza.
