I don't think I said something that is not true or offensive, if you feel offended then don't be because that was not my intention. I was merely pointing out that PC players have been the most active in this thread hence more of them are at a level capable of doing Platinum solos hence average PC players are more likely better at this game than the console players. The reasons can be debated but the results cannot.

 

Here are more stats:

 

PC Platinum Solos = 866

PS3 Platinum Solos = 304

Xbox 360 Platinum Solos = 221

Combined Console Solos = 525

866 > 304

866 > 221

866 > 525

I hate vindicator, so that's out of the question.

Nice. Any time I've tried soloing with the Destroyer without an Adrenaline mod I always get picked up by a Banshee fairly quickly.

Thanks Cato, GPS with warp4 stopped Banshees fairly quickly. Though I was picked up by Banshee on wave 8 in my first attempt.

Don't play the false naive with me, you said that non Venom / Reegar solos > Venom / Reegar solos, implying that console players are not skilled enough to solo without these two weapons, while they have used as many weapons as the PC players for their solos. You would know that if you had looked more deeply into the PHOF instead of displaying your contempt for console players without thinking seriously about what you say. That's also particularly funny from a guy whose last entry in the PHOF was a kroguard solo with... the Reegar.

Don't need to be so hostile, all I said was doing a solo with an OP broken weapon like Venom or Reegar is not as big achievement as doing a solo with other normal weapons that take more effort to get kills. For example:

 

Predator Solo > Arc Pistol Solo

Avenger Solo > Harrier Solo

Scimitar Solo > Wraith Solo

etc

 

I myself don't use these crappy weapons anymore but sure as hell respect a solo more if it was done with those crappy weapons as opposed to a solo done with an Ultra Rare/Higher Tier Gold Weapon.

Bad use of missiles and didn't handle waves 2 and 7 well. Eviscerator is pretty good for an uncommon.

In all honesty I think there are more PC solos in here because it is easier to capture game play from a PC than a console, That and most console U tubez are all bout dat COD gameplay Mass Effect feels more like a PC game

How you don't get all the advantages you PC players have ? With an unlimited amount of consumables (among other things), I would have done a lot more solos than I have done.

Of course it is ! There's no debate about that. All multi-platforms users I've heard talking about that said that nothing is better than mouse + keyboard for shooting games.

 

What I don't like in your attitude is the disregard you show for console players. I remember you saying that ME3 on consoles was "baby difficulty" or something like "use the Venom, and you will become a pro soloer on consoles". I find these statements unacceptable. Did you try the game on consoles at least ? I've the impression that you did not...

Sorry I was too harsh. "Baby Difficulty" was too much, I should have not said it, I was just trying to be funny, and it was referring to me playing on a sub 30 FPS host with mouse/keyboard.

 

And I said Use the Venom, and you will become a pro at soloing which is basically the same thing what I am saying in this thread as well that completing a solo with Venom/Reegar is an easier task than completing a solo with non Venom/Reegar.

Vorcha Hunter (build)

Tried this one first with Wraith against Reapers on Ghost but Banshee picked me up over ladder on wave 7. Flawless run until that moment but it was quite painful for me to kill double Banshees with Wraith.

Second one was against Cerberus with Venom. I was out of gels in wave 6 but somehow managed to survive later waves. Objectives were devices, targets, targets.

This solo wasn't anything special, got my fat turian ass kicked in by phantoms on w8 and also had dumb objectives, but what was amazing was that I stayed connected to the server for 31 straight minutes. I've had a lot of DCs this weekend.

You need to upload your picture in a website which can host it (like HostingPics). Then, insert the relevant link given by the website (look at link for forums or BBcode) into your post. To do that, select your name (at the beginning of your solo reference) with the mouse, and click on "Link" in the post toolbar. Then, copy-paste the link given by your hosting website into the relevant box.

Devices, hack, pizzas. That's the 10th Saber solo if I remember correctly cato's stats. I think that this great weapon desserved a double-digit number of entries. It does my favorite sound in the game, with the one produced by biotic explosions.

Targets, devices, hack. Fun point of the solo : after I killed the first target, the second appeared while I was moving and somehow it confused me. Then I spent 30 seconds to kill... the wrong Atlas ! This little incident costed me a missile. I should probably not do platinum solos too late in the evening lol. 

 

 

AIU with Crusader (screenshot). I had done my only solo with this character with the Reegar so I thought that I could redo one with less cheese.

I don't remember the objectives. The build was a classical 66464 with all possible boosts to weapon damage. Too bad deaths under Repair Matrix count as normal deaths or it would have been a 10 waves survived solo.

Targets, escort, pizzas. I had started to record this one, but I didn't notice that the space was very low on my computer, what caused the recording to stop during wave 4. Oh well, I need to do some cleanup on my PC, these video files take too much space.

 

Hopefully I have done an other solo with the same setup. I will upoload it tomorrow since there aren't many plat solos with the Spitfire.
