Should've gone with lolwhite - would've been faster. Glacier is time consuming with banshee and phantom combo.

I had another run with the DI that was exactly two minutes faster but I forgot to screen cap, so stuck with this run where I spent several minutes running from a single banshee on w4, and later a single banshee teleported between my rocket and the spawn I was about to nuke, wasting an entire rocket on one enemy. I hate banshees.

I think the last 5 DAI solos (2 by Techno and 3 by me) should him past the slayer and valkyrie, I think. Cato, the stat master should be able to verify that.

Well, Erik's solo doesn't quite change the order of the top ten. The DAI is still in 7th place but very close to the Fury now, with an average time of 43:06.
Also, the PC average time is now less than 50 minutes, I believe for the first time - 49:59.

How the **** do you solo that fast? I mean, at 26 min, I'm still in wave 4 or 5. Also, I always get Devices...I'm a ****** magnet to that objective. Failed 5 solos straight tonight. I'm going to call it quits again, with no damn succesful solo to show for it. Seriously, I have been getting at it hard...especially this week. I must have failed like 35-40 attempts this week alone. Frustrating as hell. I am working on a tribute solo for Loufi, actually two. And I have some solos I like to complete, before the new game arrives. But at this pace, I'm getting nowhere...

Also, the succes ratio of some players is astounding. I have solo'd Platinum 6 times, if I remember correctly. To get to those 6, I have failed close to 300-350 attempts. Ouch! I guess this isn't for everyone, lol

Such is the power of that kit and the incredible quality of a lot of the players here, that even Erik's excellent solo is only the 10th fastest for the DAI.
Keep trying with the solos, I'm interested to see what those tribute ones will look like.

About the success ratio, I don't keep track of it but I'm pretty sure that I have more failures than successes, and I believe that it's the same for most of the highly represented players in this thread.

Jeez... and then I feel bad about myself for failing my first(and only) five attempts at golden solo... you sir put me to shame with your persistence.
Therefore, I resolve to give at least five more tries to it... next weekend. Too tired and too drunk to try it right now.

This is definitely true for me as well, that my failures far outnumber my successful runs.
At the moment I have the game minimized because I have failed the same solo six times in a row...
Indeed, there is also some extent of luck involved in a platinum solo (some objectives can really make it harder for you, especially devices located in the wrong places).
Working on my havoc solo, 2 tries both got me to wave 8 - but I'm not giving up!

These three solos are part of a thing that I did along with Techno and N7-Gerbil/Tupari. We can't 1v1v1 each other because they share a single PC and my internet is too terrible to host or connect to them, so after a lot of arguing/trash-talk we finally agreed to do three plat solos and fastest combined time "wins" (it was more about having fun though than an actual serious competition. Or maybe I'm just saying that because I know I've probably already lost ).
We each picked a solo with our favorite kits for the three of us to do, and we chose easy combos since none of us wanted to do a lot of grinding. It was fun, and I am looking forward to see how badly I get rekt by the other two.

Congrats, that's the fastest ever Turian Soldier solo. You actually have 11 of the fastest 13 times for that kit.
Also, you're now only the 4th player to complete at least nine 10 Waves Survived solos. One more against Geth will also make you the 4th to complete 10WS solos versus all factions.
Erik, Techno and Tupari have moved their favourite characters up the leaderboard with those fast solos. The Justicar moves up five places to 13th position and the Salarian Infiltrator moves up six places to 26th position. But the Turian Soldier has soared like some kind of fat, ungainly eagle up nine places to 20th position.

(the Tempest was just because I knew I was going to megaderp and suddenly be unable to shoot a guardian through its shield with the GPSG).
Really derped on spawn-nuking though, I couldn't remember anything about Geth Platinum spawns and so wasted missiles on wave 8 nuking marauder and pyro trash
Then again the Pyros probably deserved it.
But the Turian Soldier has soared like some kind of fat, ungainly eagle up nine places to 20th position.

Krogan Shaman (build)
I think this guy is one of the best character against double Banshees with biotic booms and GPS + warp 4 ammo. Only one death in wave 7 and don´t remember using any ops packs during run.
Objectives were object recovery, targets, object recovery. One missile used for first target and it changed targets to ravagers. 4 missiles used for clearing wave 10 and 1 missile saved for home trip.
