This is my 50th plat solo, and it will be my last. I decided to end it with my favorite kit (Turian Soldier), favorite weapon (Saber), and favorite sidearm (scorpion -- though I tried to limit its use since I wanted the majority of gameplay to be Saber).

Loufi, you can just put this under all the sub-sections (race-wise, class-wise, all maps etc etc).

 

I was planning to do a few more with my favorite characters but the very sight of Cerberus is making me want to quit the game these days, and I am unable to go through a platinum solo without rage-quitting (on phantom waves). So, I am done with platinum solos - I'll have more fun with gold solos.

I did a new Asari Huntress platinum solo on Giant against Reaper forces to see whether I have improved. And indeed: of course still not anywhere near the times of some of our super cracks, but I improved from 116 minutes to 85...

I tried to record the game for the first time, but so far I can only hear the audio. Lol: 85 minutes of ME3MP audio against the reapers... Maybe the black screen is just a codec problem, so I'll try to get the video going. Would like to upload it, because it was a fun game. Just when I thought I would have no trouble at all, I waited a split second too long in wave six during the "easy" hack objective in the building at the LZ because I could finish it without even kiting one round. Cost me three medi gels and two missiles and the game became a challenge after that.

 

Edit: not a codec problem, so no video.   I tried to record with Open Broadcasting Software, but that program doesn't detect my AMD Radeon graphic card of my laptop, that's why I got the black screen and just the audio. If someone wants to listen to it, lol...

 

Anyone knows a (free) video recording program that runs on laptops? I already searched the forum and MSI afterburner seems to be the choice. My problem with that: it doesn't even show the video options in the toolbar for me. Tried two versions, same result...

My first plat solo in quite a while took more attempts than I'd care to admit, even using the Turricane. For some reason Dagger seems to be really tough for me, luckily on this try I had all 6 missiles going into wave 10 so the targets and cleanup were no problem. And that's one more map ticked off for me.

Targets (no missiles used), hack, hack.

 

Armor piercing rounds. Incendiary and Disruptor could have been more effective to get fire explosions or tech bursts with Havoc Strike, but I wanted to rely only on the gun for this solo. All in all it wasn't difficult, but killing Phantoms was sometimes tedious because of this stupid DR they get on-host (it's always fun to see a Wraith shot removing only two bars of a Phantom's barrier).

 

 

I indicate also that weapons have been added for the adept, soldier and engineer classes. The other classes will follow in the next days.

Cheers. I've completed platinum solos on Vancouver, Glacier (Hazard) and Giant but that was before I started contributing to this thread so I'll have to redo them and take photos this time. For your hall of fame I've done Dagger, White, Ghost, Reactor, Glacier, Jade, Goddess and White (Hazard), so plenty still left to complete.

 

Oh and here's another Venom Drell Adept solo I must have completed ages ago then forgot about. I was trying to get sub 30 minutes for a while with this setup but I don't think it'll happen.

Back to back platinum solos, yay. Flamerless Trooper with the Spitfire ain't exactly the fastest solo setup apparently. Half of the maps are done now.

After a few failed attempts with different kits on a couple of different maps I decided to try something that seemed more straight-forward - Batarian Soldier. And it was, got it on the first attempt with no rockets used. Resurgence, Earth and the other Hazard maps left to complete.

My ps3 froze at the start of the wave 10 objective in my previous attempt at this map

Plus it seems to give me fps issues even if it's my first game since I switched the machine on. Still, that's another one of the easy maps completed now. Krogan Sentinel with no rockets but plenty of grenades.

So, I was bored. Here's the proof:

 

 

There are around 820 hours of solos entered in the Platinum Solo Hall of Fame, comprised of 889 solos.

 

The average completion time has gone from about 70 minutes in late 2012 to just under 45 minutes now.

 

Infiltrators are nearly 3 times as popular as Engineers.

 

Soloers have survived for almost 47 hours in the Thunderdome.

 

Condor has the slowest average completion time at 72:59. While Glacier, unsurprisingly, has the fastest at 33:05.

 

Geth have been solo'd against the least with Cerberus being two and a half times more popular.

 

Adepts have the fastest average completion time of the classes while Infiltrators have the slowest.

 

No-one has ever beaten Collectors on Jade, Hydra or White (Hazard). And no-one has ever extracted from Dagger (Hazard) against Geth................I wonder why.

 

Only six seven maps have been completed in 30 minutes or less - Ghost, Ghost (Hazard), Giant, Giant (Hazard), Glacier, Glacier (Hazard) and White.

 

Giant is 34 times as popular as Dagger (Hazard).

 

The Talon Mercenary is the fastest kit by average completion time while the Turian Ghost cuts an awkward figure as the slowest.

I ♥ Fat Turians: No-one has completed more solos with the original Turians than TheTechnoTurian, with 9.

 

TheNightSlasher leads in total number of solos completed with 109 spread over more than 82 hours, comfortably ahead of ex-Clusum and TheTechnoTurian who are tied for second place with 47 solos each.

 

The soloers with the fastest average time (and at least 3 entries in the hall of fame) are Xcalizorz, N7-Gerbil and Knockingbr4in.

 

Roly-poly Enthusiast: No-one has completed more solos with Volus kits than Ffandrade6, with 9.

 

The only player to have gone back to the Staggerdome (Glacier Hazard/ Geth) for a second time is INVADERONE.

 

More solos were completed on one day on 26th April 2014 than in the entire first 2 months after Platinum was released with the Earth DLC.

Great job cato ! I was thinking about calculating some stats about the plat solos these last weeks but didn't find the time. I will try to add more information soon, when I will have added the weapons for all classes.

 

Minor e-peen correction : I am actually in third position with 45 entries, VS 37 for Clusum (I think you based your ranking simply on a word search). Actually, I have done a total of 51 plat solos, but I started posting in this thread only after the 6th.
